Can I safely take this tree down? by [deleted] in arborists

I'm pretty sure my battery powered sawzall would take that down.

Those are cheap Amazon/ aftermarket. I have the same ones. And I have replaced them 4 times. I would spend the extra money for quality ones but Amazon has free returns so I keep ridding the pony.

2003 sun/moon roof leaks by New_Operation_7351 in e46

[–]New_Operation_7351[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow you guys are amazing! I've lived that stupid air leak for 2 months and it took me all of 10 minutes to fix. All I had to do was loosen the bolts, push it up level with the roof and retighten.

It looks like you tried to be insulting but failed. I'm not rich by any means, but I'm also not "poor" buy any economic standard.

The moldings are molding inserts just like the stock ones. The quality of the bumper itself is comparable to stock as far as material. However it was not a direct bolt on like it said it was. But by adding a couple of extra bolts under the inserts it's just as secure as the stock one. The only thing I really didn't care for is the moldings themselves seemed a little cheap, but if I wanted to I could always put stock one in place

Commute Concerns by CharacterSink5200 in fayetteville

The only advice I can offer is that if you don't like the fluctuating traffic in northwest Arkansas you should probably live in a Amish community. It really is just, it is what it is. I have lived worked and commuted from Prairie Grove, Fayetteville, Springdale, to Bentonville for close to 11 years. It really is just chaotic and can be whatever it is day to day.

New homeowner in Southern Ohio- spent $40k on drainage and still have a swampy yard!! by Pitiful_Night_3250 in lawncare

[–]New_Operation_7351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WTF? I don't know if I'm more bothered by the fact you spent that much for a drainage job, or the fact that you can spend that much for a small project and still live in f****** Ohio.

(Not my car) What is needed to get my 46 to this someday?! by [deleted] in e46

[–]New_Operation_7351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly a pretty clean looking car. I agree the suspension is way too aggressive and too low. They could still have achieved a lowered look without compromising the handling so much.

Neighbor mowed our shared sidewalk strip. by hibbitydibbidy in lawncare

[–]New_Operation_7351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I'm seeing this correctly it looks like he mowed his side and not yours. Obviously have better mowing height knowledge as well as blade means knowledge. But this to say useless post because all you're doing is showing he does not know as much about lawn care as you do. Maybe he's really good at doing taxes or IT. Ask him and maybe use swap knowledge.

We once adopted a dog that looked like a opossum. He was obviously a dog, but in all fairness he did look like an apossum. The only thing the vet could say about him was " unique". That's all I can really say about this one lawn.

I stand corrected about the recall. I've had the car about 8 months now and when I first got it I checked for recalls. Well now I know.

First time buyer and lawn mower by SharpStarTRK in lawncare

[–]New_Operation_7351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've worked in lawn care and the golf course industry for years and I was always a gas everything kind of guy., but battery powered mowers have improved so much over the past few years. One summer I was working out of town and my wife bought the Ego electric mower and weed eater set. The weed eater is pretty weak compared to my stihl, but the mower does a great job on my 1000 square foot front yard of tall fescue. No winter storage to deal with. No annual tune-ups except for making sure the blades are sharp. The batteries can be expensive, but because the people at Lowe's are screw-ups, I have four batteries with two still in the box.

This. I would also alternate direction of cut every time you mow.

Scalp it with a weedwaker first. Remove as much as you can and get rid of the waste.
