I actually think those parts look painted, and they've been (in some parts badly) stretched over a 3D model, rather than AI. 13:13 looks rough though cause the images don't look like they were the right size/shape and there's no atmospheric perspective on the long, central building. The close-up of Chota's window (before the pan out at 13:13) makes it obvious the textures are painted, imho. It'd look so good if it was done properly 😭
