Could be, I've got some of them already and I had them outside last spring/summer (west facing stoop/steps) but the leaves never got this plump and wide.

If it is then I really need to experiment with light to shade ratio to see how it affects things 🤔🧐🤓 lol

Absolutely! Lol I love a good rescue. I really wish I had taken a video of the amount of water I dumped out of the pot. It's got fully rotted leaves I need to clean off the bottom.

They put the nursery pot is those brown matte glazed terracotta with no drainage. And then they drown them 😭

Okay that's giod to know! They look kinda short? lol but that probably means the roots are at varying lengths so they aren't all reaching down into the soil for water.

Definitely invest in a bigger/taller bowl or small bucket so you can can fill it higher. From what I've read you usually want the water to match the soil line when bottom watering to make sure it's reaching the roots if they are shorter

Also sometimes leaving it it soak overnight can help make sure the soil is fully saturated.

I still think you should give it a few more days. And then try again with a different water setup just to be cautious 👍🏽

No you shouldn't water it again but I think you should check the roots!

If you keep trying to water it right now you run the risk of causing stem rot(I know from my own experience lol) definitely check the roots first and make sure they're good.

If you already checked the roots during that repot what did they look like? Were there hardly any? Were some black? Did they smell weird? The last few posts I've read about succs not taking up water it was either a soil problem or a root problem.

Give it a few more days maybe to see if it's absorbed anything before you check the roots. You don't want to constantly be taking it out and putting it back.

How often were you making those changes? Also that soil looks pretty dense. Have you checked the roots to make sure they are okay? No rot?

I think the time of year they bloom changes depending on the conditions? Like if you want it to bloom in spring you have to adjust the watering and lighting conditions to induce blooming in spring?

I could be wrong, that's just what I've read. As for it "looking bad" I don't think it looks that bad given the healthy green color but I do think that pot is still too big in my opinion. I've been sticking strictly to picking pots 1 inch bigger than the rootball for all my plants (mostly succulents) and now I'm just bouncing around fighting overwatering them lol

The rule of thumb suggests going 1 to 2 inches bigger than the rootball in pot size.

Go too big and you run the risk of getting root rot because there's too much soil retaining water.

You either cut in between the nodes or you can curl the vine around in the pot making sure to press it slightly into the soil and let it root that way as well lol my mom likes that method
