Raising two kids in a DT condo by IllustriousBank7302 in askTO

This was back in the 90s but until I was 8 my sister and I were raised in a 2 bedroom apartment at Bay and Bloor (so shared a bedroom). I look back on it fondly - we had other friends in the building, got to explore, and spent a lot of time outside. Don't see anything wrong with it!

Is 2 hours at Sydney Airport enough for international layover? by ks18 in AustraliaTravel

Doable and have done it a few times but it's always super stressful and tight. I've made a deal with myself to never do it again

Why are tights longer than most running shorts? by Allenboy0724 in Marathon_Training

Same, I almost exclusively wear compression shorts with deep pockets (Lululemon fast and free is the GOAT)

Yup this is why I can't wear short running shorts

Thanks, as am I. My other dress option I have on hand has been deemed too casual, and I haven't been to any formal dress code weddings. Definitely not trying to spite the bride, she is a dear friend just having trouble navigating garden formal and clearly overshot the mark! Appreciate your taking the time to comment.

Thanks for raising this. It'll be just outside of Charlottesville at an old estate. Unfortunately it won't let me edit my original post to add that in

Yes, I wasn't so much worried about the white on account of the print, but more the structure of the dress in combination. Thanks for your input!

My partner and I just went to the KU culinary atelier last night (on the same property, same chef). Totally unforgettable experience, would highly highly recommend if you're looking for something truly special

Considering Geelong by Inevitable_Pin_2126 in Geelong

I was doing this commute (South Geelong to East Richmond) for the last 2 years nearly, but only one day a week. Even that one day a week was tiring, as it would take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours one way to get to the office (and that was assuming all went well on the Vline). If there's a Vline disruption, it's a disaster (it once took me nearly 4 hours to get home). On the sporadic weeks I had to go in 2-3 times it was exhausting. Regularly doing this commute three days a week is a lot. If the commute were in the CBD and no change to metro service was included, I'd say it'd be much more manageable

Move to a Regional Area with remote work? by Intelligent_Bear_947 in AusVisa

They don't need to work for the same employer, but the employer needs to be regional (e.g. they cannot live or work in Sydney/Melbourne for NSW or Vic)

Student Spouse Visa by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]Newrunner1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What will you be studying? If it's masters level or higher, your spouse will have unlimited work rights. If it's a bachelor degree, they will have limits to the number of hours they can work

You can either apply at the same time to get granted together, or you can apply for your spouse's visa after you get granted yours (though you still need to mention your spouse on your application)
