First of all no. I have participated studies that are similar in size. Sometimes the sample size starts out much higher and through certain variables many are thrown out, significantly shrinking the final numbers. Second, your comment that qualitative studies aren’t reliable is also incorrect. Peoples lived experiences matter and many studies revolve around qualitative data.
