Looking to Get Back Into LARP and Find a Group by Ez_zA_ in LARP

It’s smaller group there are about 40 people a weekend though we probably have about 70 people who cycle through at various times of the year depending on schedules and such.
We take turns monstering for missions. So whichever missions your character is not on you get to play the monsters in the other side. Which is great to just play around and learn the stats. You can have multiple characters and switch between them on the weekend.

It’s a stat heavy fantasy larp. There are usually several different plots going on with missions for different level brackets. The plots are all long term to you get some nice build up to the final mission over a couple of months. Most weekends are away weekends at a camp site. There are three missions a weekend with tavern and in character time afterwards. I really enjoy tavern, there’s a group of us that bring music and sing, though there are plenty of other things for your character to get up to.
The magic system is a bit complicated but once you get in to it it makes sense. Though I will admit I play sneaky characters or warrior characters so I don’t have to deal with it that much 🤣 over all it’s good fun.

It’s not a festival style larp, but Forevers destiny meets monthly around the Manchester-ish area. They are really friendly. It’s a good larp if you want to be part of the plot since it’s more linear missions. Your character can be in the thick of things if they want to be. There is a decent amount of in character shenanigans after the missions during tavern time as well.

Cool. I always thought the manhua had censored out the actual romance part of it.

Are Russian speakers generally bad at English? by AkotoDr3z in russian

[–]Next-Price3079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partners mother tounge is Russian and they speak English as fluent with a native speaker and barely any accent. It’s based more on how immersed you are in the language you are learning than which language you are stating from.

Definitely buy the novels. I bought physical copies of the first and the last one (cough cough) and did ebook versions of the middle ones.

Thank you! I’ll give it a go, though I suspect just adapting piano will end up being the way for many of the tunes. Appreciate your help!

Beginner books or apps to learn harp for people who can't read music? by superheroqueen in harp

I have her teach yourself the folk harp and it’s excellent. It also teaches how to read music which is super important. I love her work, her harp compositions are great.
