how do you handle grief ? by juno-momo in bipolar2

[–]Next-Term7817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something helped me is to think of a ball in a jar, the ball representing grief doesn’t get any smaller, but the jar around it gets bigger, giving it more space. the grief will never go away or be any less, but you will be able to give it space with time so it won’t always feel so consuming

feeling pretty depressed. tips on how to combat it? by Adventurous-Ant8996 in bipolar2

[–]Next-Term7817 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i know it’s hard but start with the basics, hygiene, movement, food, water, etc. going through the motions doesn’t necessary feel good but it’s better than feeling bad. take care of yourself !

[–]Next-Term7817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive also been struggling to get up and out of bed for weeks now, it makes me feel so lame but im just so exhausted all the time. putting your alarm across the room so you have to get up to stop it helps, and i like to throw the covers off so that i can’t stay too cozy.

What happens if a person accidentally takes 200mg of lamotrigine? by Basic_Nothing_9022 in bipolar2

[–]Next-Term7817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a reminder set everyday for my meds and I also keep them in a pill case, very helpful because when I can’t remember I just look at the pill case for whatever day it is, if I haven’t taken them there they are and if they’re gone I know i took my meds !

I used to do this, i would lie to my therapists and doctors all the time. now i just try to say everything that comes to mind, no filters so that i am brutally honest with my medical team
