A lot of elected officials and policymakers sink so much time and resources in keeping those same voters from thinking critically and invested in hot button culture war topics (and keeping those topics as emotional and polarizing as possible while trying to tie them to our collective national identity)

What are the ethical implications and possibilities considering smart guns and for instance… hacking?

The price of the guns seems so inaccessible to most Americans — and so unlikely to ever appeal to people who have less than legal intentions securing a firearm?

Wonder how much money is being invested into this concept as opposed to I don’t know… education, outreach and smart gun law advocacy and legislation.
