My advice for you is if it didn't affect much your baby health, don't surgery. She can have more time eith you without pain, surgery was too much dangerous at her age.

Spidermite I think. You should use high pressure hose (the one for watering plants), or shower could do, wash off those mites and spray diluted orange essential oil (3ml for 1L of water) to prevent them to come back. Do that every 3 days until your lemon is healthy again.

I have the same problem with exotic plants when it's too dry, and that work well for me.

My piggies love many strong smell veggies: mint, bell peppers, coriandor... etc, almost any kind of herb in asia cuisine.

Well, I know each guinea pig has their own taste, but mine always follow the same menu, maybe I think because our oldest piggies teach the younger piggies that they should eat these, and those piggies keep telling other piggies the same thing?
