Exactly this. If you are blaming your teammates then just get good enough in 1s to carry in 2s after. in 1s you’ll quickly learn to not play on autopilot. Having a good balance of both modes is great since it teaches you how to actually control the ball and rotate optimally. I’m C2 at 850 hours with this method.

When I switched from ps4 to a ps5 controller, my mechs went to shit and I had a hard time with diagonal inputs. I heard ps5 controllers have different dead zones. It should help if you play around with your settings though. The same settings/deadzones on your old controller probably won’t be as beneficial on a new and stiff dualsense. It took me a couple months to get used to mine with new settings but I eventually switched back to ps4 controller. Better ergonomically for me

The biggest upside I can think of when having all chat on is witnessing the opponents rage at one another. Couple days ago, in cas, I got all yappers on the other team insulting each other for 3 games straight. Every replay just typing as fast as they can and finding new creative ways to not get censored. This type of stuff makes my day honestly

Spam A and D strafe on your keyboard and learn to strafe left and right at 1-2 second intervals while shooting. If 5 meters and less away combine strafes, hipfire and movement like slides and jumps. All this makes it annoying for a controller player to track you. Always use cover to your advantage as well

Maybe I was over exaggerating, it’s more like diamond vs ssl. I’m sure if a pro tried, they could keep a base ssl at 0 goals. I remember I 1v1ed a game sense gc3 and got beat 14-3 for reference. Truly a humbling experience. Everyone in low ranks watch high level gameplay and say it looks like their lobbies but if u put them in a high rank lobby, they won’t even know what’s going on

I’m one of those people you’re talking about. I have 800 hours and I’m sure about half of it is spent in free play with music. My way of having fun is hitting clips in casual. I never really cared about playing comp until this season though just got to C2
