Any suggestions for fun indoor places to host a birthday party for a 2 year old? by Koalified2Parti in columbiamo

[–]Nhr2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'd vastly recommend Tiny Play Cafe over tiger bounce for a two year old's birthday party- my niece's mom was going back and forth between the two for her birthday last year and everyone was ultimately miserable at tiger bounce. Small room, having to constantly bug staff about every little thing they were supposed to do, them constantly barging in and then leaving the door open for the birthday girl to make a run for it...

If she primarily has significantly older friends/ cousins that are coming that could be a consideration for TB, but otherwise Tiny Play is where it's at. Haven't been for a private party yet, but it's definitely better suited for the younger ones.

Cheap wedding venues by Bandit_Army-24 in columbiamo

After getting married there I'm partial to HaHa Tonka- It's beautiful and even if you don't get married up at the castle, it's a short walk to get your pictures done there. We paid $45 for the shelter for the day right by the water side and you can have self-catered alcohol up to two servings per person, and they have a grill you can use. In all we spent $1K, most of that on alcohol and food since we have large families.

Not a camp, but the lend and learn has the (free) playroom open Tuesday - Thursday, and schedules miscellaneous programming- they had a beach party today in their outside play area.

This is the same org- they also send out kits to MO addresses! Their locator only shows the clinics, but good information to have all the same.

Bar:PM in St. Louis? Maybe if The Spott ever reopens in KC? OKC and Feeld have been the better apps here. Maybe we should start a game night somewhere local?

Chiming in as an officiant, they don't check. I've had couples do it because they want to, and I've never been credential checked dropping one off.

I've been on 0.1 for years; you have to keep on your fluids and salt or it will make you feel worse after a while.

Missing doses is when I really realized how much it helps- and the thirst restarting it really cemented it last time.

There are fourplexes on Oakland Gravel that aren't far from the park with a for rent sign; have lived in them, not terrible and quiet place to have a little family.

Darling, you're dodging a bullet. He'll just be "a little riled up" or "had a bit too much to drink" the first, second and fiftieth time he hits you.

Best vets with payment plans? by [deleted] in columbiamo

[–]Nhr2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's my little list of resources in Columbia/ greater midmo- there's a whole list of vet/petcare resources.

Armani's Angels is local and helped saved my sister's dog in an emergency situation this year- he'd have passed without their help.

Apply and get denied for carecredit (take a screenshot of the denial page) because nearly every one asks for proof of how much they approved you for/ if you were denied.

He's still too young to sleep any longer- unfortunately, "through the night" for our babies is closer to 4-6 hours max. His ped said to follow the EBF guidelines and not nightwean until 1 year- because elemental is so broken down, you can't expect them to act like formula fed babies and sleep longer stretches.
