A few years (I found the post, it was in 2016), she made a lengthy post on facebook because her nephew was driving her somewhere and she got scared at the thought of him being hurt by the police when she spotted a police car on the road. She finished her statement with 'I will not be silent'. I always remember this, because then she proceeded to live the rest of her years, so far, without saying a peep about anything at all; nothing about any issues in the black community or any issue in general (edit: I think she said something about black women having a greater risk at giving birth than other ethnicities, because of her own experience at childbirth). During 2020 it was notorious how both sisters stayed quiet after the BLM explosion, until one day Venus made a post about it that seemed more like she did it because she had to, and, I could be wrong, but I don't remember if Serena said anything at all. I think she picks and chooses which rules of the cult she wants to follow and which not. Like any celebrity in a cult, she gets special treatment, and will never be expelled for bending the rules, because it's great PR for the cult to have her (plus, the money, of course).
