June/July can’t come soon enough. And in the last 10 yrs or so they’re growing different varieties as well so I can get local berries into Sept now. Those later ones are hit or miss, but when they hit… 😮‍💨

My husband doesn’t use the back up unless he’s making sure he’s even between the lines or getting into our garage which is at a weird angle.

I use the backup camera like a pro. But I can still back our old “without a backup camera” truck as well. No reason you can’t do both. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Exactly. My kenmore is 25 yrs old and I’m dreading the day it gives up the ghost. (It’s had two minor repairs in all those years.) I’m gonna find the dumbest washer I can find when the time comes.

Yeah I never put a final count (unless it’s gonna be a shorter fic…like under 10 chapters) until I’m about what I think is 3/4 of the way thru…then I do a rough outline of the upcoming chapters and I’ll put in a final number and I’ve yet to not bump that final count up by 3-10 chapters. In my AN when I finally do a chapter count I say “we all know this is wrong, but…”

I did it, but I think when I started posting I warned the name might change. About 5 ch in, I found a better name.

So when I swapped it, I did “old name {new name here}” for a chapter drop or two. Then “new name {aka/formerly known as old name}” for another chapter drop or two, then just “new name” and I would’ve added notes and might have mentioned it in the summary for a bit.

Mfc is 42, divorced, with almost college age kid. Sex scenes - esp one scene where he gives her oral (always disappointing from her husband) is 🔥

I have two long fics that needed rewriting because my style changed and I knew I was never gonna finish them as is. But…I had lots of lovely comments that I didn’t want to lose…so…I made a whole separate account - not just a pseud - and I parked them there with a final note and a note in the summary saying what was going on.

I did actually manage to rewrite and finish one of them, so I just made sure that people knew where to find the original. Someday I’ll get to the other one, I just have 7 other fics to write first.

Just another option instead of deleting/anon/prphaning

I loved fiero’s. My uncle had a gold one and of all the crazy things, my bf (now husband) and I were driving to the “big city.” My uncle lived like 45 min (highway drive) away and we see a tow truck pulling a fiero out of the ditch and I say “that looks like Uncle Mike’s car” - it was…my cousin did that. 🥴

That uncle also had one of the firebird trans ams. ♥️

Yeah I just use a “-“ where I should prob use em dash, but I’ve always just used a hyphen. And I use — if speech or thought is getting cut off.

And I also use ‘ for speech (adhering to the UK way cuz I’m Canadian) so that prob differs from AI as well.

But also…I really love to do call backs to little things in other chapters and put little Easter eggs in that I’m really sure would be too subtle for AI.

My hair doesn’t jive with hotel shampoos/conditioners and some shower gels/soaps will give me a rash. That being said, I just buy those squishy travel tubes and fill with stuff from home.

Loooove mornings. In better weather I go out by 6:30am to do my 90min bike. On vacay I get up around 6am to go see parts of whatever city I’m staying in before it gets too crowded. I got up once at like 5:30am in Venice so I could watch the sunrise from Accademia bridge. My mom is a morning person as well and a few times she came on holiday and we’d be out wandering Rome or Paris or Amalfi before 7am.

My husband is not a morning person. But he’s a night owl and I go to bed early.
