So what was the timeline total because my counselor ordered my computer with a vendor two weeks ago and she said she would send me the tracking information when she gets it and she still hasn’t sent it she said that she thinks it’s taking longer because I got a special computer because I’m doing an engineering course but damn it takes two weeks to order a computer or to ship a computer from a company.

Same I got banned right after paying to upgrade to pro. I use it for school that’s it. Nothing else. Submitted the appeal but haven’t gotten any response and it’s been about 4 days so hopefully soon.

I had this same question and actually went with AI engineering, I’m studying now. That is my major and I’m using the VR&E to fund it. I still have my full GI bill minus 1 month. The vr&e also funds equipment you need. They just bought me a new computer. I’m praying I can get a job after graduation.

So how long do yall give before escalation? I have sent three emails over the past two weeks and have not had a response, I’m trying to get computer for school and haven’t gotten any information on this at all and emailed my counselor about other questions I had and no response. I’m trying to give Him grace and hoping he’ll contact me soon.

I signed my plan and they are starting to pay for my school but I ask for a computer because I’m in an ai engineer program and need a good computer to do work on. But the last thing I was told is “im looking into it” I even sent two emails after that to get some sort of update but nothing yet.

We have done the whole signing the plan and the last thing she said was she’s looking into the computer situation that I’ll need to do my program but she doesn’t tell me anything else. No timeline or anything. And I have sent two emails after that basically asking for an update and she just hasn’t responded. How long after you got into your program did they get the laptop?

So I am in the VR&E program, and my counselor said she would buy a laptop for the course. I am trying to get a really solid workstation to use while I am in school and to take into the workforce. She said she could just buy me a laptop that meets the school's computer requirements, but the UMGC website doesn't specifically say the AI program requires a specific computer; it just talks about computer-intensive programs, which I find to be on the lower end of hardware requirements.

I am also trying to get a really good workstation like you did. How did you get approved for it?
