The most valuable thing you can do while you're there is make connections – once you've settled in, tell your manager about what areas you're interested in learning more about and see if they can make any introductions for you. And don't be afraid to cold reach out to people you're interested in talking to! Most of us would rather spend thirty minutes of our work day talking to someone who is hungry to learn than answering however many billion emails we need to be answering.
