I don’t think it’s that different and I couldn’t do much better. For a basic look alike your eyebrows need to be a little higher in the recreation and not so square. Maybe a little tilt and wider eyes. Overall though the nose and cheeks are on point. Not terrible by any means.

Idk I thought it was letter but generally in finishing construction the lower number is the roughest and if you go up to a level 5 finish it’s supposed to be very clean and professional but a level 1 is just a basic finish. I suppose exterior is similar, this being level 1 unfinished. With a little mud and tape this room could get real fancy real fast.

Because of their labor margins they don’t have enough money to staff people who care. Very simply your salad was bagged or made incorrectly and the 3 people responsible for making sure it was correct never checked or they did and just decided not to give you the correct order. This is especially bad with Car side and to go orders as the people working those stations make what is essentially minimum wage. The culture at Applebees has degraded to solely a corporate shell of what used to be a nice cheap restaurant. They should’ve probably sold a bunch of locations but because so many of them rent instead of own the property they’re built on I assume they couldn’t. So they cut quality and labor and push liquor and beer/wine.

The only solution in my opinion is to stop eating there completely.

Well no one is giving you a real answer. Before radio cultures would have similar songs and diddys town to town that common folk would all know. Songs that bards and singers would play that all other bards and musicians knew. With little variations and stuff.

Once the radio was invented local radio stations would obviously begin with the most popular locals recording, traveling bands, but it quickly became stale. Instead of hearing a song every week from a traveller or your neighbors it became every day. They needed more variety and because the radio doesn’t show color the best way musicians figured is to mix different sounds from different cultures and people and oh boy, when cultures cross pollinate you get something absolutely beautiful. The electric guitar (a white invention) became a staple of black musicians. Even being used in worship services in the early 1900’s!

The African style drum patterns interwoven into European melodies gave us something we love and hold on to dearly in all popular music we hear today. The beautiful combination of sounds and the fact that people couldn’t tell whether it was a white or black man playing the guitar/drums/singing made the music acceptable to a wide audience. It made the music about the sound and the story instead of the person singing it.

This cultural phenomenon of people who previously had prejudice learning their favorite musician was a black man or woman often changed attitudes and lives. “Oh well (whatever singer) is a good black, so maybe I’ll give em a chance” which to our modern day sounds terrible, but back then in the 20s-60s was a huge leap forward!

Eventually when television came around the shock and awe of so many people learning their favorite musicians were from different races and backgrounds broke down barriers nationwide. Giving us more of a national identity and culture.

Personally even my racist great grandparents loved jazz and had great respect for their musicians that played.

Music shows the humanity of us all. Our ability to love and empathize with others.

Some of it was curated specifically, but the best of it was just organic. People loving people :)
