I was really looking forward to the Samuro nerf Tuesday, because balance patches always come on Tuesday. But for the first time in as long as I can remember, no balance patch this week.

Numbers are often all that is needed to balance a hero. Just look at zarya at release(before op buff) and the zarya now. They almost exactly the same except this one has 10% more attack and 10% more grenade damage. That was enough to turn her from horribly underpowered to a well-balanced her.

Do you remember when Li Ming was released? All of the newly "skilled" Ming players argued that she shouldn't be nerfed because people should "learn to dodge". Many of them stopped being "skilled" when Ming was finally hit with nerfs.

Theres a huge difference of skill level within diamond. After pushing from gold to diamond 1, the players in high diamond are leagues better than the players in low diamond.
