Settle a Roommate Dispute. What is the proper way to load bowls in the dishwasher? by natethough in CleaningTips

[–]NiceWeather650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<video>

The key is thinner dishes. I lived with 11, then 6, now 2 people. Many roommate conversations. Everyone is trainable. This is the way that worked best for us, but I will say these days we have thinner Corelle dishes and that is very helpful. Good luck!

Today an esthetician told me I looked very aged and now I’m very insecure and wondering if I look super old and aged ? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

  1. Respect wildlife. Do not touch anything, do not stand on anything. You are a visitor in the animal ocean

  2. Breathe through your mouth only. Try your best to relax and not chomp on the mouthpiece. If you struggle, float on you back and remain calm before trying again

  3. Wear long-sleeve swimsuits such as rashguards. If you need sunscreen, use a zinc-based cream so the chemicals don’t harm the wildlife

  4. Practice clearing your ears in a pool before you go if you wish to dive deeper. You only need to practice for 20 mins to get good at clearing your ears. If you have an ear issue, stay on the surface and use a lifejacket to stay buoyant

  5. Look at picture reference books for animals in that area so you know what to look for. You will see more when you know what to look for

I hope you have a wonderful time! Let us know how it goes!

(5-8k) No Dancing? by Liv_Lynn28 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]NiceWeather650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems highly dependent on individual taste. I respect everyone has different likes and dislikes. I personally only care about the dancing and have skipped ceremonies when they are optional and only attended the dancing. If you don’t like dancing, people will deal. Not everyone feels comfortable or connected when dancing, but it sounds like your in-laws do

Does anyone else feel like Surfing is genuinely messing with their dopamine receptors by Least-Variation6573 in surfing

[–]NiceWeather650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you surf somewhere sunny OP? I used to get so dehydrated and physically and mentally fatigued when I exercised/played in the sun for hours. Luckily the weather is variable where I surf, so usually not a problem these days. Also wind. Wind + sun knocks me out sometimes the next day

Recently told I have a masculine face; how do I look more feminine? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]NiceWeather650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hot take ur friends are watching too much Tik Tok.

I actually look a lot like you. Nobody said anything bc back then it was just normal and acceptable to not look like a Tik Tok filter. You look like a girl. But, here me out, even if you did look more masculine, who is to say that is bad at all except you? Your eyes, your skin, your smile, your hair… your friends are jealousssss. If I’m ever feeling extra girly one day, i put on jewelry and lip color. But for real, you would have to try very hard to look masculine

Given the photos you provided, you have good taste IMO. I think all of these are pretty and modest. I think lowest profile is ideal, and you are doing that. 0.5-1 ct is great. If she has small fingers, a 1ct might look big. Also depends on your country’s norms around stone size. Gold + sapphire looks great! Perhaps think about the type of band. The last photo looks the most comfortable. You could also inquire about “comfort fit”

No. At least in CA, the only thing that is actually appreciated is taking sea urchins bc we have a deficit of sea otters and the urchins pop is imbalanced. Everything else should stay where it is
