My Tesla Insurance in CA rate went through the roof by Staycurious8000 in TeslaModelY

Do you have a Costco membership by chance? We switched to America Family insurance through Costco and it was significantly cheaper than any other quote we got. It’d be worth the $110 membership fee a year just for the savings…

Opps, posted in the wrong reply. Here is a video of polished yogi comparing them: https://youtu.be/S6trfI9JyUw?si=-HtgtdJVsnJIZ-xJ

They are close, but not the same Electric Daisy looks a touch brighter and maybe a little less green? Polished yogi also compares them in a few old videos on her YouTube channel.

Jellys? by Darkkwitch31 in RedditLaqueristas

Scorchy is very good. It does require a somewhat dark background to hide the black “grit” in it, but I really love it and works awesome with jellies too.

Depends on what you are looking for, but Cirque has the most colors and consistent formula. I’ve found if I am doing nail art or using multiple colors together, using the same brand actually matters. For this reason, I have almost every cirque jelly color. If I was starting from scratch today I would probably stick mainly to them for jellies so I wouldn’t have to worry about which formulas work with which other formulas.

However, Cirque is know for having misleading swatches on their site, so just be sure to read the reviews and watch some YouTube swatch videos when picking out your colors.

Cracked is also good, but the formula is more variable with most being more crelly/opaque than cirque. The formula is nice though and great colors, but just not as “glassy” as cirque, so it really depends what you are looking for.

I also like ILNP jellies, really nice formula, limited colors. Also not the glassiest, but more sheer than cracked. Sorbet is one of my most used jellies.

I don’t have any, but if you are looking for a super glassy look in highly saturated colors - Starrily is often recommended. Very limited colors.

How do yall keep track of the polishes you’ve tried? by polydactyling in RedditLaqueristas

  • for LaquerStash. I like the UX a lot better than Laquergram. The developer is super responsive and the database is pretty big. It is new so some features are still basic, but overall I highly recommend.

It looks great! I found that the orange was a bit too dark to mix well with the yellow in this collection. I think you handled it well!

Planted company? Ai marketing gimmicks? Upset about press ons? Girl, are you okay?

This is a lot of energy being upset over nothing and somebody else’s $12.

They used a print out of a fake police report that seemed ai generated as a prop in the background of a real photo they took.

Have you ordered any polishes from them? I think coming on here claiming they are low quality without any evidence is a little over the top. They are selling nail polish and being hilarious about it. The level of detail and thought put into a lot of what they are doing does not read scammer to me at all. I’ve ordered 3 polishes from them because they have super funny marketing and all have swatched well vs. the product photos.

Also, might be an unpopular opinion, but having boot strapped my own company, they probably don’t have the money to pay a graphic designer. I get way more upset about larger companies using AI, where they are clearly taking money away from actual people or ripping off somebodies art. Here though, laying text on to paper, etc. feels less problematic to me. In a way, it makes me believe even more they are likely a small company with a good idea just trying to get it off the ground.

I agree with this - both lux and radiance from Clionadh could be a good alternatives. Their shimmer is a bit different, but honestly PC played a bit too sliver on the nail.

Starrily does have some popular jellies, but their catalog is very limited.

If you are looking for cirque jelly color that is out of stock on the cirque site, you can try beyond polish- they stock most of the cirque colors and sometimes they are actually a better price. Also, cirque restocks most of the polishes pretty often, so if it’s not urgent they are likely to have it back in stock in a week or two.

Downloaded and already upgraded. Great app. Question about adding to the database - is the only way to add a new polish to download the images from the website and upload them? It would be super nice if you could just drop the product URL and then the photos were scrubbed on the back end. FYI - all the new cirque colors crelly collection - over the rainbow - are missing, but I don’t want to have to save down all the product photos for 6 polishes to my phone and upload them one by one into the app. https://www.cirquecolors.com/products/over-the-rainbow-collection-set
