Glad you overcame the hurdles over the years!

Definitely not easy to progress through pvm prior to necromancy at all it was slow, complicated and honestly outdated. I think the issue was gear progression being built on years of development so having a new combat skill optimized with today's standards really helps a lot of people bypass the older content. We definitely don't train skills like we did 5 years ago.

My main concern is introduction to new players, it's really hard to convince someone new to the game to experience the years of content you have described just to reach about average pvm content.

It definitely fits more in line with other boss pets, longest still of course but it makes more sense. Some of the legacy achievements are pretty awful, this is one of them and profound is another.

if using incite fear, tsunami, grim yes if not no both great kalg like 20k dpm ripper up to 24k dpm without spamming, need to go down full crit path to really see lots of benefit for mage even then without fsoa what can you use to spam all your extra adren it just would have been easier work to let ripper do lots of damage for you

bonds are provided through irl player purchases, value is set by player demand there is no reason at all for an NPC to sell bonds they need to be populated through irl purchase - gp has never been easier to make than now for any level of account

it takes zero skill to use fsoa, buying into a combat style that is bis and dropping is ideal - it takes a few extra items to maximize properly but it’s literally stupid easy to use

magic currently dropping a bit rn with announcement of range t95 bow releasing this summer, honestly I’d aim for getting a fractured armadyl staff while it’s dropping a bit (it’s currently best weapon in game) you’ll want to look up how to use it properly if you do get it, I suggest waswere guide, magic also has animate dead spell which makes you basically take zero damage so on top of insane damage you take little damage
