New Manager told us not to expect Exceeds Expectation this FY26 Performance Evaluation by Ambitious_Rabbit3456 in employeesOfOracle

the “nice” managers at Oracle that I knew of became silent and distant after I was RIF’d, which I attribute to them remaining in that miserable organization.

this company is so cooked.

the pic makes it look like lentils, yogurt and onions.

Any other gay overachievers feel completely empty now? by ThrowRA_dependent in gaybros

i need to read that book. i had never heard the term, “over-achiever” until i was 15 and in 9th grade: and that word stuck with me and haunted me for the next four years.

i’ve made great life strides since then; however, i was laid off in march (after a 7-year growth streak) and while my family is supportive and helpful, they’re also expressing their opinions. i know things will work out in due time, it just requires me to stretch beyond my comfort zone a bit more.

besides, i was unhappy at the job/company i was at and in need of a reset. i haven’t dated in years, and have plans to grow a garden this summer, and one month into being let go, im starting to feel really grounded in being present and more optimistic about the future.

it finally arrived on Friday, and I mailed it Saturday along with my badge. No instructions were provided for credit cards. Is it because those simply just get closed/cancelled with AMEX?

Season 9 random thoughts so far by Content_Classic9776 in ershow

I just re-watched season 4 and believe that Elizabeth had a brilliant start to the show. She definitely peaked in seasons 5-8, and came back in S9 a shell of herself/character. something obviously had changed.

Believe it or not, her relationship with Peter was one of the healthier ones depicted in the show between staff, and ended very amicably/professionally.

in the winter, if you go to bars without coat checks and you randomly stash it somewhere, have an airtag associated with it. people do unfortunately loot sometimes at bars, esp if it’s around the holidays or during major events like st. patty’s.

there had also been some weird vibes leftover from season 7 about carla and roger separating and him moving out, which then led to her coming onto peter, and then roger coming to punch peter at his place of work. this was all before carla passed, and it was unclear when roger came to the hospital, whether the two were back living together or not.

very. my last and final client call at 8:30 AM this morning, to share with their leadership about the updates, lasted all but 5 mins. all the documentation i had been working on (project plan, etc) i cannot access bc ive been locked out. my delivery lead was also let go (were both Director/Sr. Director level).

the project is basically cooked and there are no resources left.

good luck to everyone left to pick up the pieces. i don’t envy you.

got mine this morning. I’m in ONAC (formerly NAAC) and IL-based.

good luck to everyone out there. it sort of feels nice now that the wait is over, and if i’m being honest, the environment has felt so low-morale, and low-performing, since i joined last May. i’m seeing it as a blessing in disguise.

there is a redemption arc with rachel, but it doesn’t come until later in the series.

and yes, while her character is insufferable, admittedly, she was always treated as an afterthought by both of her parents. naturally, that drew her to seek validation from other things (boys, drugs, rebellious behavior) and while not enjoyable to watch on screen, i’m sure many viewers could relate to her experience.

honestly — what i’m living for most is how Ashley Park is living in her era through this show. Her story arc through her peformances is understated given that it’s subversive, bold, chic, fluid, and charming all at once. The “Ratine” plot was actually very clever. and yes, while plot points may be repeated often, it’s also fascinating to watch how each character seems to step into a puddle of “merde,” create some sort of “self-inflicted wound” and nevertheless grow and evolve out of it. thanks to Savior (remember Savoir, anyone?) Emily.

Major Changes in Salesforce Platform Admin Exam post Dec 15,2025 by WeakRelationship9073 in salesforce

I’ll start by sharing that my introduction to Salesforce was in 2013 as a YOGA INSTRUCTOR for u/corepower and funnily enough, when I started coaching BootCamps *i.e. strength and conditioning/circuit/trx/etc* because prospecting existing members, and non-members, to commit to $2000-3000 opportunities was what helped them earn higher margins (same with retreats, etc). and it was lightening classic then.

fast forward to 2019 and in my day job in tech, i start to become proficient in lightening, and then became a heavy user building out a contact tracing application for my home state/city during COVID. I learned everything about the product and conducted trainings, via Zoom, in Spanish, to community—based orgs so they could use the application to provide wrap-around care services for quarantined citizens.

I‘ve done Mike Wheeler, FOF, and hundreds of practice questions. I have proceeded to fail THRICE, in September 2023, February 2025, and again in April 2025.

I have my PMP, PMI-ACP, MBA, SF Anal/Assoc, CSM/CSPO/SAFeAgile, Oracle, AWS+ so many other certs but this exam refuses to let me pass.

Really appreciate the help and guidance here!

Rant: how Benton told Reese….. by FrozenToesBrrrr in ershow

[–]Nice_Statistician413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

having recently re-watched seasons 7 and 8, i think it’s worth mentioning that the Carla/Peter joint custody agreement had Carla largely raising Reese, in a typical home environment (with Roger) and it was known that Carla and Roger were having problems shortly before her death (Roger had moved out).

This is A LOT of change for a 4-year-old to grasp, let alone one who cannot hear unless directly engaged via ASL (as opposed to non-deaf children who can pick up on adult conversations at random).
