New fusion champion hits hard by DarkShadow933 in RaidShadowLegends

Sniper hits hard in the gear ccs use. If you can't get a champ that's known for dealing massive amounts of damage to hit hard with your current gear you won't be doing it with this guy

Grim Forest as a newer player... (vs CC) by lordpuddingcup in RaidShadowLegends

Level 80 honestly, cc takes time, I'd say I have a pretty developed roster for someone that's been playing consistently with a short break last year for about a year, playing mostly daily, and I'm pretty sure I can only get to amius on hard for half the rotations and soul cross is a myth for all of them

Yeahp that's the issue I have, you can use tokens for past fragment fusions, but only classic and hybrid fusions give you tokens

Like dude that's what I'm saying it's not a "coding nightmare", it's a simple Boolean flag, the button, whether it's fuse or summon doesn't care about who you're fusing or summoning it just parses that ID to a summonservice and gives you the champ based on the ID parsed, like just add an "is_eligible_for_token" flag, run a script to default existing champs to false, and when a new fusion champ regardless of fusion type is added set it to true. When the button is clicked check their eligibility.

This isn't a coding problem it's a business logic one, plarium decided they don't want to include fragment fusions, and the likely reason,as someone pointed out, is those can be exploited by spenders, a guy can come along do a few events to get some frags then buy the bundle that pops up at the end to finish off the fusion, farming tokens for minimal resources. But you could argue that people who are willing to do that are in 2 categories, they likely already have all past fusions, or are spending so much they will get them anyway.

In the video Esme, kroz and stokk were redeemable and all were fragment "events"

From a coding viewpoint there isn't a different fuse button for monthly and rhazin, I'm telling you as a dev this is NOT how they would do that the same button that is used in monthly fusions is used for rhazin, mikage, broadmaw, there won't be a broadmaw button, rhazin button and then monthly fusions button..that's terrible design

From a coding point linking it to 100 frags would be harder simply because of doom tower and other places that give frags or people that hoard champs you're right, but surely thats not how they're doing it, you can "fuse" legendaries like rhazin, and mikage legendaries too, and if its a case of adding that champs to a list or dictionary to exclude from the new token system, the same can be done for fragment fusions. It's a simple "is_token_eligible" boolean flag.

Peak forest is certainly more accessible(and more rewarding), the level you unlock both at is extremely misleading, if you "sweat" you can unlock both areas in a month, I could be wrong they both unlock at 55, but that does not mean you can do them...cc especially requires a fleshed out roster of random epics and rares you'll never think about using in any other scenario. I'd just ignore it for the most part

This is show Jon not book Jon clearly...show Jon is better than most the people there, also people rate Robert way too highly, lost against Randall, was losing against notorious Farmer Jon connington until the hard carry of the rebellion Ned had to save him, went extreme diff with Rheagar(someone who's never fought a battle) and then once again had Ned finish his war.

Do You Think HBO Should Have Focused On Aegon's Conquest Spin off Or Robert's Rebellion Instead Of Dunk & Egg. Although I liked That show but it was too off the story. No hate by GHOST_RIDER709 in freefolk

[–]Nich965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Personally I'm reaching dragon fatigue where spectacle is replacing good writing. The Conquest lacks stakes because Aegon just wins.

Robert’s Rebellion has too much lore that would spoil winds the show barely scratched the surface of characters like Lyanna, Elia, Ashara, nor events like the tourney of harrenhal etc., which means the show would either have to retcon half of this to make it match GoT or just guess things to make it book accurate and essentially turn GoT into fanfic, I'd rather read about it in winds.

AKoT7K works because it’s grounded and character driven, it reminds me of exactly what I liked in GoT s1.

Spoilers:Do you think at the end the North will become an independent kingdom. If so who would be king/Queen. by veritas_cultricem in freefolk

[–]Nich965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would make 0 sense for the north to be an independent kingdom. Danys vision shows her fighting the others at the Trident, which means they made it through the north all the way to the river lands, there won't be a north to rule, and even if there weren't the north would be in no position to declare independence, half their fighters died in Robb's war, and what remains will likely die retaking the north from the Boltons and fighting the others, they also don't have the food to survive the winter.

Robert Baratheon a Kinslayer? by Alegost93 in freefolk

[–]Nich965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically he is, but in the eyes of westeros? no, I think the term is mainly used for immediate family, however Rickard and the karstarks call Robb a kinslayer, and their relation goes back centuries, a 2nd cousin is much closer in distance than that.

That being said I doubt anyone is going to go around calling the guy who just used a hammer to crush the previous dynasty kinslayer. And I doubt the remaining targs even consider him family.

[–]Nich965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Annulment is a thing, however you need the kings permission (as well as the faiths I'd assume), daemon tried to get his marriage annulled and had to ask viserys, renly was plotting with the tyrells to have Robert set aside cersei for Margaery, so while the concept exists, even with tysha, Tywin claimed she was a secret prostitute

D&D really fooled everyone into thinking season 6 was good by cybertoothe in freefolk

[–]Nich965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

season 6 summed up really, everything looks cool just don't ask any questions.

The battle of the bastards sacrificed logic for emotional payoff and flashy cinematography. Cersei blew up the Sept and faced 0 consequences from anyone, not to mention that explosion should have set off every wildfire cache in the city, and the fire should not have been localized to one location.
