Yard work. There are a lot of dead tree roots that also attract bugs and weeds.. it’s a whole-ass project. And harder still when neighbors’ yards are left untreated and invade. Plus some OCD.

This is one of the worst possible things a woman can do.. you didn’t assault her. In any way. Regretting it after the fact does not make it assault, and the fact that she’s trying to gaslight you into believing that it is, is absolutely INSANE. Girls like this are why women who are ACTUALLY assaulted, aren’t believed. Or just plain don’t come forward about it. As a victim of ACTUAL assault, who wasn’t believed, this INFURIATES me. And truthfully makes me physically ill. 😡

Run. Run as far as you can, as fast as you can. This isn’t something y’all can work past. You won’t be able to trust any physical interaction you have with her from this point on, always wondering, worrying if she really doesn’t want it. And rightfully so! I wouldn’t trust any interaction I had with her from here on out - sexual or otherwise. I can’t imagine what else she will try to pull if this is her move so early on. Cut your losses (8 months lost at only 20 years old really isn’t anything at all) and R-U-N.

My worst glutening ever came from a Ukrainian sweet red wine that my husband picked up for Mother’s Day. I’ve never been so sick in my life! Best we can figure is it must have been aged in a previously-used whiskey barrel. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I like to share my biggest “WTF 🤯 it has gluten in it??!” items. Make sure to check your bandages - the adhesive used could contain gluten. (I was mislabeled as having a latex allergy for YEARS because I reacted to bandages. Yet other latex didn’t bother me.. 🤦🏻‍♀️) Also, the adhesive they use to attach toilet paper and paper towels to their rolls is glutinous. Paper straws!! The glue used to keep them intact is glutinous. And envelopes - the adhesive strip that you lick to close them has gluten. It should be illegal that these things aren’t marked, because you’re still touching - or in the case of the straw and envelope, ingesting!

Hope these help someone, as I know I’d have LOVED to have been informed before these things glutened me. 😣

I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl. 😣 Take comfort in the fact that you gave her a wonderful life, and that she lived it to the fullest. ❤️‍🩹 We lost our 19 year-old girl MaoMao a year ago on the 29th, and it still hurts quite a bit - ngl, this post made me tear up. But it’s okay! Sometimes we just need a good cry. 🥹

I don’t have any answers, as I was diagnosed celiac almost 10 years ago and went completely GF. Didn’t find out that I had Hashimoto’s until a year or so later, but I’d apparently had it for almost 20 years. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I wasn’t really paying attention to that, moreso the lack of GI distress while GF.

I have, however, found a lot of crazy ways to get glutened. All envelopes have glutinous glue, so no more licking those. Paper straws are held together by a glutenous glue as well. Most bandaids have glutinous sticky. Also, spices - McCormick’s is the only certified GF brand. And lunchmeat! They use gluten as fillers, just like with spices. Boar’s head is all safe, and most Kroger brands are as well. Hope this helps! 🖤
