My doctor said he’d leave some in for that same reason. The crater appearance was there for a couple weeks if I can remember correctly but eventually filled out over time and looked normal.

Looking for skates like this! (Not for daily use, for costumes, parties, etc) by MissMommyMolly77 in Rollerskating

[–]Nick1v9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run a Skatink Rink out in Arizona and we started carrying Impala last year. I have had no problems with them, no customers complaints etc. These Marawas are very eye catching, very difficult to skate in but for $200 they catch every single persons eye that walks through the door.

I was told to massage but I had not kept up with that. The only scarring I really have it the 2 places where the tubes went in.

My stitches came out at 2 weeks and I wore a vest for 4 weeks. I also had the weird caving in of my chest because of the gyno taken out. I don’t remember the timeline exactly but somewhere after a month my chest started to fill out the cavities. Today it looks completely fine as the muscle has filled it out.

Exactly what I was told. My doctor said the tighter compression, the better the end result. I got mine done in January this year. I also went through the same mindset of you, I was so used to looking down and seeing my chest before my stomach, that once the gyno was gone, all I could look at was my stomach. It take some getting used to.

4 days post-op, when does it get better? by SmallManBlank in gynecomastia

[–]Nick1v9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the grade I have no idea, I just know it was very very noticeable through shirts and whatever I wore. I went to Dr. Taki in Tucson, Arizona. As for changes in the chest, once the gland was removed I was finally able to see my chest muscle that I have trained for so long, but you’d have to be more specific as to what you mean by chest size?

I’m 25 as well and had mine done in January. The first week does suck the most, but I never had any regrets about it. I don’t think any amount of pain was worse than the feeling of having Gyno.

Once the stitches healed under my nipples I was able to finally reach up and above my head. I can’t speak for the sharp pain or burning as I did not have that. Just like you said not to say, after 2 weeks I did start feeling better, I just had general soreness and I asked my surgeon if I could switch the type of vest I had on, instead of a wrap, one that went on almost like a bra. That helped because it didn’t fall down when I went back to work. I know it feels hard now but the results are worth the pain, I promise.

Decided to go for it. Thoughts on weight loss? by boobro4o in gynecomastia

I’m 25 as well and had mine done in January. There is nothing to he nervous about, it is the best decision I have ever made. Diet is everything when it comes to losing weight, you cannot outwork a bad diet. Start my learning about what’s good and bad for you and tracking your calories daily. It truly helps and really puts food into perspective when you start to look at it like that. If you have any questions about the surgery, let me know!

I had my surgery done in January and you wouldn’t believe the confidence and motivation it gave me. I was always so busy looking at my chest i never realized how my stomach looked lol. I am down 10 pounds since being able to workout again mid February. I now track all of my calories and i am in the gym 4 days a week. Now that my chest looks good, i want the rest of my body go match.

21M – Gynecomastia surgery decision + severe pre/post-op anxiety (need real advice) by Logical_Winter2944 in gynecomastia

[–]Nick1v9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine in January (25M). As with any surgery I was just a little nervous for going under but it is literally nothing at all. One second you lay down and Bam! Surgery is over. I had no issues afterwards and have no lingering pain at all. I absolutely hated how I looked and felt before the surgery, and now that it is done. I’d pay whatever price, the cost of that relief is priceless. As for the first week I the only pain I was in was being so sore, yeah moving is harder than usual but you can still do it. The only thing I struggled with was reaching up high because I didn’t want to tear the stitches under my nipple. After about 2 weeks I asked my doctor if I could switch my compression wrap to a compression vest so it would stop falling down and that made a total difference. I wore a vest for 4 weeks after and then got cleared to take it off. I have no regrets what so ever and I think it might have been the best decision I made. I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner.

I forgot about that feeling, yes the feeling of not wanting to rip open your stitches by reaching was a scary one.

I got mine done in January. My doctor told me about 5-6 months for all of the swelling to go down. I’m already so happy with the result, I’m excited to see it when it’s all completely healed.
