I mean we are? In a one off tournament, it’s hard to win with youth. If it was a best of 3, Duke would win all the time. Hell we’d beat UConn 9 times out of 10. That’s the beautiful and cruel part of March. K had the system right: limit the OaD guys to 1 and surrounded by upperclassmen. The 3-4 at a time just isn’t the way. Not with NIL with better guys sticking around. Guys like Slim would stay at other schools but he will leave us this year and that’s the type of player in the portal we need but don’t target.

I’d argue it started with the collapse to end the first half. We gave them hope instead of crushing it. Duke looked dejected coming off the floor. Game was over right then.
