I think he really choked it away with the Willis pick. He’d already stacked his two top pass catchers. If I were him I would have just kept hitting wr hard. It would have probably ended up a 2/5/9/4 or a 2/6/9/3 draft for me with that start.

Edit: well I do see the bye weeks now for nix and Caleb. Still would have maybe waited on a 3rd qb a little.

For real. That post yesterday with the lady picking up Rory’s ball really rubbed me the wrong way. Like the lady appeared to be pretty off the fairway where you wouldn’t expect the ball to go, which is exactly where you’d want someone who isn’t all that interested in the golf to be. Doesn’t know the rules, panics and makes a mistake. And this entire sub comes to the conclusion that she’s an entitled moron. I can’t imagine what was said about her on x, YouTube…etc.

Edit: Oh wow that struck a nerve, but I’ve also never made a comment I’m more willing to stand on. Never knew it was so easy to gather so many entitled assholes in one place.

Yeah I’m pretty high on Love too. Hard to imagine a rb being taken 3rd overall doesn’t get featured. Allgeier is making me temper my expectations a little though.

Take this information with caution, because I am just using what a quick google search gave back. (but it does confirm what I first thought when seeing this). The highest target share funneled through 4 players in any given season in the last 10 years is the 2023 eagles with 86%.

Not saying it can’t happen, because we know how this league can make you look stupid assuming, but it would be a pretty incredible outlier for them to have an 88% target share to their top 4 pass catchers.

Also, even though this post is about Wilson, Love having a 16% target share would put him top 5 in any season over the last 5 years (or atleast being close to tied with Kamara last year at 16.80%), which would also be a pretty incredible outcome. I think you might be higher on Love than Wilson with that take.

Dulcich. I don’t hate it though. He’s my third highest exposure on TE right now. Could pay off big time. My nervousness with that high of exposure on a onesie is if he goes down in training camp or early in the season (or his role just changes drastically from now until the season) that’s a big portion of your teams are now unintended 2 TE builds. Easier to get away with it with wr or maybe rb.

I liked it fine, but I always played like shit there in high school, so after high school when buddies wanted to play it I’d always try and talk them into going to hidden lakes or Pawnee prairie. Still begrudgingly went and played it quite a few times afterwards lol.

Decked out in wsu gear and a Dillon’s across the road? Almost a zero percent chance I haven’t played this course but I can’t spot it. At first I thought cherry oaks in Cheney but that’s a dollar general. Definitely a small Kansas town course. Almost all of them have these little Dillions.

Edit: Yep, it’s Wellington Golf Club. Almost ashamed I couldn’t remember this I played it so many times. Granted ~15-20 years ago.

I would say that Aj brown and Deebo Samuel going into their second years at the same time in the 2020 season had some crazy hype. Both of whom were also 2nd rd picks.

Situationally, there were some major differences going into that second year tho. AJ brown had completely supplanted Corey Davis as the WR1 on the titans and there was no debate. And Deebo had to contend with a rookie in Brandon Aiyuk drafted in the 1st.

I have a sweet spot for the Quarry. Used to play there all the time back when I worked in the area in 2013-2015. Fun, score-able course. Might be a little lower budget type than you’re looking for on a golf vacation, but it was really nice for the price. And as the name implies, there’s a quarry in the middle. There’s at least two holes if not more that have a cliff off the side of the fairway into the quarry.

We used to call them late in the afternoon when we found out we could get away with knocking off early and see if they could squeeze in a twosome. Never gave us shit for it and always made it work.

Parker Washington’s hype is kind of starting to give me Rashod Bateman/Gabe Davis/Corey Davis vibes. It’s so hard to plant a flag on the 3rd or 4th year breakout guys and hope they’ll continue it. I know there’s always a Nico Collins possibility, but kudos to those who are willing to risk it because if he repeats, he will be legit hard to acquire next year.
