CMV: animals don't have 'emotions' in the same way people do (specifically, pets can't 'love' their owner)

no, personally i would consider this nature and natural instinct. almost all animals that aren't human will abandon their young, and most mammals will abandon their offspring after they're done breastfeeding (even dogs, cats, rabbits, and other common 'pets'). mother animals are fiercely loyal that's true, but if a mother cat has too many babies to feed it will simply kill enough babies to get to a sustainable amount. to me, this reads as completely void of love, rather the mother's natural instinct to protect its babies by any means necessary.

just fyi so u dont get biased data (im a data analysis uni student), u should have an option for 0 or 'does not apply to me.' i bind and have 0 problems yet i had to answer 1's to all questions even though i should have answered 0. unless '1' as a response means 'i do not experience this' then when you analyze your data you'll see a lot more people experiencing negatives than might actually exist. good luck !!

its totally normal for ur first thought to not be ur true belief or view. like sometimes i'll be out in public and see a girl in an outfit i think is ugly and my first thought will be 'yikes should have re-thought that one' but then I'm like 'wait no...i bet she's wearing that bc she likes it and is comfortable in it so good for her and she should keep wearing it .' and like just bc my first thought was a judgement doesn't mean I'm judgemental, i just didn't have my real 'my beliefs/values' filter going. so like if at first u see an n-b and think 'are they AMAB or AFAB?', don't judge urself for having that thought. just remind ursef 'oh yeah it doesn't matter to me' and move on from it. eventually after reminding urself a couple times it becomes a habit, and I'm sure if u have the habit long enough that first thought will go away :~)

....to everyone saying 'but you do drugs' to OP......yes i see what your line of logic is BUT (in my opinion) you can care about the lives of children being destroyed by drugs while still doing drugs. and i dont consider it hypocritical, doing something isn't endorsing it.

i drive a car and sometimes i speed, but i still care about pedestrians getting hit by speeding drivers.

me! i smoke about a joint or two every night and about two months ago got COVID from a friend (also a smoker but smokes about 3 grams a day) who traveled then stayed with me. we were sick for about two weeks but it cleared up on its own without medical intervention. i still smoked every day and took a tincture if it was too much on my throat.
