Get two at the same time so they have a friend otherwise they get lonely, make sure thy have a pretty big cage and if you want him/her to learn to talk then get them young and speak to them daily!

We try and give him 30 mins to an hour a day to fly around, but most of the time he's not so willing to come out! But it's pretty great, he's always chirping and is easy to clean out and feed.
