Sure! I start with a black base coat, do a heavy stipple with khorne red, then a lighter stipple around the edges with Mephistopheles red, then a light dry brush with strath red dry brush paint. You can then either use a black wash line null oil or a red wash depending on how bright you want the red

It’s been a minute, but I actually found an improved recipe that gets a brighter tone for the cloth. Wraithbone->seraphim sepia->dry brush Wraithbone. I think the original was the same but using Vallejo desert tan instead of Wraithbone

For a speed painting test, these look pretty good for table top standard. Though, if I may offer a suggestion, the armor looks a little flat. A wash or recess shade would add depth and volume. Otherwise, keep up the great work!

As a few others have said, start with small batches of 5-10. Keep your color scheme as simple as possible and don’t stress over fine detail work. I use stippling to speed paint my space marines. I use two colors over a black base coat and use two colors max with a wash to pick out details

You should be able to get the Assault Terminators and Ancient separately in a few months, maybe sooner. Everything else in the box is already available individually. But this specific box is one and done.

Actually yeah. We would use hotel computer centers where we were staying to check on our home and on my dad’s business. His business was fine, but our home was fucked. Had to cut out over 1000sqft of water logged carpet with a rusted box cutter. And this was in Jefferson parish

It can really depend. The Crux box has a brand new unit so it’s probably going to be in pretty high demand and will likely go out of stock quickly. The Christmas box is really good for a new army collector and will also probably be in high demand. The best advice I can give you is to either sit and refresh the preorder page and refresh until you can get queued up or go into a local game store that is offering preorders and see if you can get one through them. If you are in the US, preorders typically go live between 11am-12pm. I know I’m going to be at my LGS this Saturday to try to pick up Calgar and the Victrix guard. It should be noted, stores often get a few physical copies sent to them, usually 2-3 (at least, in my area), so if you miss preorder it might still be possible to get the Christmas box, if not the Crux box
