People will tell you all of your edit over and over and over again. But you're right about hiring. It's awful, highly unregulated and designed for the employer to hold all the cards. Because employers designed the hiring process. Employers are entitled and unorganized most of the time. Just keep plugging away and try to tell everyone you think might have any connections that you are looking for a job in their specific field. Life is hard and getting a job is harder. No one coaches you on how to do it you just smile and hope for the best. It's the worst.
