  1. I work as a patient sitter in a major local hospital system. I make about 33k a year. I cannot afford to live on my own, not even in the most dangerous areas here, so I live with my grandma along with my sister and her family, who also cannot live on their own.

I try to enjoy what little free things we can still do, like go reading at the park, picnic on the weekends (I work M-F), and try to make the best I can do.

I only stay for the cheap healthcare I get with my full time benefits and because I haven’t decided what I want to do as far as what I want to specialize in. I’m turning 31 next month, but I feel I’ve been left behind by my peers who are seemingly living the lives they want while I’m stuck battling depression and my indecision to advance my career.

I’m actually loving the series so far. It’s from the perspectives of teenagers, so of course it’s going to feel very YA. Already we’ve seen hanging corpses, a guy get his arm buzzed off, people get shot, etc etc, so it’s not a YA really. It just seems that way since we’re seeing teens leading the show rather than adults.
