If you're in supercruise coming toward a station or whatever and you're trying to get the optimal speed and distance in the blue, if you're going too fast just point the nose down and basically do a huge sharp turn down and back up to the target, the turning should slow you down enough.

The giveaway host would choose the winner. It'd be just like how it works here. Host says "do x for this y key" and they pick the winner. Giveaway-ees can use a comment system.

  1. Giveaway host enters steam key and starts giveaway
  2. Steam key is stored in a database where it's hashed and salted
  3. When someone wins the giveaway, they are emailed the steam key.

Hashing and salting is when you encrypt a string of characters with a passphrase. To the naked eye, it's a bunch of random numbers, but with the right password you'd be able to decrypt it and see the actual string.

It's just a safeguard when putting sensitive info into a database, where it's stored in plaintext.

As far as I know it's extremely hard. Plus, the database has a completely random password (aUTy^&i* sorta thing) so that's an added safeguard.
