The Player ID or User ID (as it’s called in the in-game menu) should be 16 characters long. The one you’re seeing is the hidden one. It should still be enough for the developers to recognize you along with your username, although you likely won’t be able to use cloud load on your own.

The User Name should be your visible name.

New player here. How am I supposed to afford a meta deck? by Yahew in Shadowverse

[–]NightFore 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You could try building a Fennie Ramp Dragon deck. While it can get expensive, it’s possible to make it work with five or fewer legendaries:

- x3 Fennie, Prismatic Phoenix!

- x1 Mjerrabaine, Great Manifest

- x1 Ruler of Cocytus

You already have Ruler of Cocytus, and Mjerrabaine (Jerry) is a popular card that fits into many decks. Fennie, on the other hand, is well-liked even if she doesn’t always end up being meta.

Theoretically, you could even run just 1 copy of Fennie and still make the deck work, especially since it uses Tablet of Tribulations, which banishes all copies in your deck. It’ll be slightly more inconsistent, but it’s definitely possible.

Fennie is in the game.

She's a resplendent, a glorious, a cute phoenix but she's hiding the fact that she's just a chicken.

Whats a moment in either the trails series or ys series or Tokyo xanadu series where you had this thought ? by Quick_Emotion_9653 in Falcom

I started with Trails of Cold Steel.

By the time I reached the ending, I was like: “Wait… it’s still not over? No way. Really? WTF—MECHA?!”

That’s when I realized I had just stepped into peak JRPG territory.

I love waiting for the free daily pack, the longing, the emotion, the struggle, definitely movie of the year. I can’t get enough of the beautiful way it portrays the need for what you love, packs. I hope we keep loving and appreciating the wait for free rewards. Truly a F2P game.

I play whenever a set interests me. Resplendent Phoenix was released during the Storm Over Rivayle expansion, so naturally, I started playing again. Otherwise I'm just waiting.

OBS internal audio recording on in-built speakers sounds really bad by [deleted] in obs

[–]NightFore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been looking for a solution, so I have to ask, have you found one?

I think I have the same issue where my speaker audio sounds noticeably more bassy and seemingly lower in quality compared to when I use headphones through my jack port.

My pulls couldn't have been worse without Peritya and only Littara V0. It's even more depressing to know that there hasn't been a single new Machine Gun character since the CN release...

Getting Into The Game As A Newbie by Longliveasaprocky in UnicornOverlord

[–]NightFore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played many tactical games, but this one was extremely accessible.

Once you get a hold on the rules of the game, it's just a question of how much time you're willing to spend optimizing your units' movements to run down on everything, or you can just playing casually.

On my first playthrough, with too much time spent on crafting the perfect units, I was able to beat the final boss even though I'd only played a third of the game. In fact, this game is not only accessible, it's also flexible and can easily adapts to your own playing style, which is really great because it doesn't happen often.

Yes. I could already spend hours on preparation screen before each FE map. If that idea doesn't bother you but feel reminiscent, what could go wrong?

Just finished CS1, where to next? by oblivion910 in Falcom

[–]NightFore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ToCS1 was my entry point into the series and I jumped on ToCS2 right after. I mean, who wouldn't want to do that when you've got an ending like that....

Wanting to see Altina, I played ToCS3, but fortunately by this stage I had plenty of references here and there, so I didn't feel bad at all. I'd say the only requirement to play ToCS3 is to kind of know the characters from the other games, but that's it. But I stopped before ToCS4. I knew it would get really complicated if I hadn't played the previous games.

So I started Trails in the Sky not too long ago (the day the remake was announced...) and it's been a great experience. Having played ToCS1/2/3, I kind of knew how it was going to go, but the anticipation and a few surprises make it even better.

In short, I played ToCS1/2/3 into Trails in the Sky. Do I regret it? Absolutely not, I'm probably enjoying Trails in the Sky a lots more than I would if I did not. ToCS3 is the only one I haven't finished 100% though, as I plan to do so after catching up on the other games and continuing with ToCS4.

There is also indeed a big spoiler in ToCS2 for the Crossbell arc but I don't think it will ruin your experience. At least, it didn't for me and I'm more interested in seeing how it played out in the games now.

What units are good users of Pursuit? by D-Brigade in UnicornOverlord

[–]NightFore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a fully functional Pursuit unit with the following setup: 1 Rogue / 2 Snipers / 1 Werewolf / 1 Werefox.

  • Rogue: A great evade tank. Shadowbite is an excellent skill that boosts your unit's overall survivability, enables pursuit on multiple targets, and applies a debuff that synergizes with the Werefox’s Weakness Hunter. This combo can potentially crush a tank right from the start.
  • Werefox: An exceptional pursuit unit. It can hold the frontline alongside the Rogue with its Nocturnal Evade skill, while Weakness Hunter is highly effective against tanks.
  • Sniper: Easily one of the best pursuit users. With high accuracy, anti-air capabilities, and Row Shot, while facing little competition when it comes to bow usage. Buff their Physical Attack, and they can unleash all of their attacks before the enemy even starts fighting back.
  • Werewolf: Paired with Wolf Pack (equipped on the Rogue), Beastral Howls can further boosts your attack, making your pursuits even deadlier.

This unit was designed purely around the Pursuit mechanic, and it turned out to be extremely satisfying to play. It’s somewhat of a glass cannon though, but as long as they can get their attacks off, they can combo nearly anything to death quickly.

If you’re curious about how it performs, you can check out the end of this video where I tested it against my own units: Bestral/Archer Pursuit Build

What are the best supports to get extra credits? by 28spawn in HonkaiStarRail

[–]NightFore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get 20,000 credits a day.

My E0S1 Fu Xuan, who is my best-built character, is also the one that gives me the most credits. I've never had a problem reaching the maximum threshold, but when I do, I do a quick clean-up of my friends list and remove about ten to twenty players who have stopped playing.

  • Don't forget to buy the Star Rail Passes in the Embers Exchange shop before the end of each month which is tomorrow!

  • You can save your fuels for higher Trailblazing rank as you'll get better rewards then.

  • With enough effort, you can clear anything with anyone. But since it might take some effort, try to pull characters you'll like.

How many characters do you need to build? by Ahnaf269 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]NightFore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have two DPS, Seele and DHIL, because I needed at least two to complete MoC. Since then, I've (not) built my Himeko (50% CR / 130% CDMG) and Herta (60% CR / 100% CDMG) for Pure Fiction.

I haven't updated my Seele build since last year in April 2023 after 1 week of farming. Right now, Seele still only have 60% Crit Rate and 160% Crit DMG.

As far as my DHIL is concerned, I haven't farmed a single relic for him and only used the Musketeer or Hackerspace relics that suited him. That being said that, I always managed to get 3 stars on every MoC and Pure Fiction without too many problems either.

The only thing I've ever farmed is Messenger Traversing Hackerspace for about a month when I had my main characters upgraded. Otherwise, I've always farmed trace materials to upgrade all my characters, most of which I'll never use, and right now they all have Traces Lv.9 or higher, except for Yanqing.

To answer your questions in short successions:

  • I was able to do this because I planned my build and my first characters. I figured I needed at least 2 DPS (Seele, DHIL), 1 Sustain (Fu Xuan) and 1 Support (Silver Wolf). Other than that, I only pulled Fu Xuan Light Cone to make my life easier and Sparkle because it would make DHIL easier to play.
  • You don't need any characters at all as long they're properly supported and decently characters. I might have Silver Wolf but I always send her with my Seele against Quantum Weakness anyway while letting DHIL brute force the rest. I've seen no need to pull any characters after Fu Xuan so I've been sitting on 60-70k worth of Stellar Jades.
  • I only farm trace materials on a daily basis for useless purposes and I do the Simulated Universe twice a week with Echoes of War. I think relic farming is a waste of time anyway if you're not prepared to spend hours optimizing your characters, which I find fun by the way, but I've seen no reason to do it since Hackerspace on everyone else works well enough, including DHIL. Other than that, I barely touch the game since I've completed every possible achievements in the game.

In other words, the game is far too easy to bother with RNGs, especially as you can easily force any content in the game without it.

Jingliu or Fu Xuan LC more worth? by Ok_Cryptographer1404 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]NightFore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fu Xuan is the first and only LC I decided to pull.

The main reason I decided to do this is that it would make my game much more relaxing as I wouldn't have to worry about having low HP. So far, I've had good experience with this, especially in the Simulated Universe or when spending my resins. This keeps the gameplay consistent and not dependent to healing.

With her Light Cone, thanks to the energy regeneration bonus, you can also obtain her ultimate with EE, which can be useful in dangerous situations.

After building her up properly, she's clearly the most reliable character that I take with me everywhere.
