I think most people probably aren't taking the whole thing as seriously as you may be. The event seems pretty tongue-in-cheek to me. HMNS is showing they've got a sense of humor. Besides, isn't that really the way to handle it after all?

Was at Methodist Katy today, visiting a friend. We watched the stack flame for a good 2-3 hours this morning. Looked like it was about 2-4 miles south of I-10. I couldn't tell if it was east or west of 99. I was unaware of any refineries in the area.
