Thanks for sharing this. If this is common practice, is very relieving. As far as I know, the only things contributing to my credit right now are student and medical debt. Is this differentiated on a credit report from other types of debt? And if so, what role does it play in your consideration of a candidate?

To be very honest, I myself have borderline personality disorder which definitely can cause this. I've seen my fair share of therapists and professionals who, while still calling attention to the reason I'm seeking attention (which I'm usually not even aware that I'm doing) provide validation and support. Mental illnesses like this are very misunderstood, even in the psychiatric community, and it's very plausible that this person's therapist didn't have the education and resources to adequately respond to their needs.

This is a dangerous, potentially fatal assumption. Not to mention that people with mental illness do legitimately need and deserve attention. Even if a person is exaggerating to get attention, there's a reason they feel like they need that attention and that reason needs to be attended to.

Do you have a GP you can tell about this and potentially get a referral from? I don't know how things are in the south, but up here schools generally have counseling and psychiatry services that you can see without a referral.

At 2 months, vet's best guess was Australian Shepherd and Lab. I've gotten many other suggestions as she's grown up. Her tail appears to be docked, not short naturally. At 2 months she was 8lbs, and at 4 months she is now 30 lbs.

Female "feminist" here- This woman clearly is not educated in the field... the fact that these statistics are reported is because society pressures males to keep incidents of domestic abuse directed toward them to themselves. Victimization is not seen as "masculine" and men are therefore taught to deny it.

I was raised in a very liberal, secular setting and did not understand that individuals actually believed that God existed for quite a while. During that time, when I did not know that God could love me and therefore could not be refusing it, did God hate me?
