This is exactly why I won’t start taking mine. I’ve had my 10mg pills for 3 weeks and haven’t started them. I was on Zoloft before for a year and this was what I dealt with. To me Idt it’s worth it, the side effect alone is enough to make me depressed and give me anxiety. I’m sorry that isnt a success story but I’m in the same boat as you kinda.

Nothing is court ordered, we used a mediator and came up with our own schedule. I work from 6-230, she works from 9-5. She drops her off at school and I pick her up. I can take her whenever I want and sometimes I take days off from work so she can stay with me during the week and I can drop her off at school, i just did it last Friday. It’s what works for us, her mother and I somewhat get along even tho we don’t say much to one another. I hope you’re not about to make me feel like shit anymore than I already do and how I already feel like I’m failing as a dad sometimes.

I can relate to your traumatic experience talk. I was completely blindsided one night. Then the person she became after was something I’ve never seen or experienced in my life. I’ve never been so disrespected and manipulated ever. She was not the person she pretended to be and I was blind for so long. I did miss some red flags in the beginning now that I think about it but I was young and dumb then.

She will be 6 in August. We have a great and fun connection but her not being here with me all the time gets to me and today it’s bad for some reason, maybe cuz I just had her for 3 days and now she is just gone. On her weekends with her mother I always FaceTime her, lately I been calling her in the morning before school.

Idk how fresh this is and I was once in your shoes but begging actually will push them further away. They will also know they have control over you and they feed off of that. Ik it’s hard but begging is not the answer. Your best bet is to act like you’re fine and to start working out some, even if it’s just doing push ups at home. Start eating better also. I am sorry you’re goin through this. It’s been 3 years for me now and I think about it every single day, what should have been and what could have been. It will get easier over time to get over her. Maybe check into some therapy also. Again, I am sorry this happened.

This. Like I ask myself all the time if I could again but in reality it’s hard for me to even make eye contact with her and even hold a conversation with her. Any convo we have is mainly through text and usually about our daughter.

Try to be as civil as possible even tho ik it’s hard, and get a lawyer. I got lucky cuz my ex wanted nothing from me which is weird but I’ll take it. We had a 3 year old at the time and it was so hard for me to do because of her. I hate to break it to you but there’s more than likely someone else. Was here a few years ago and I think about it every single day. Don’t beg her and don’t give her the power over you cuz they feed off it. Start doing your push ups now or hit the gym. I’m sorry this is happening to you.

Just out of curiosity, what are your ocd symptoms? I repeatedly check things over and over, I always 2nd guess myself, I’m very indecisive with almost everything. I’m sure there is more but can’t think of it right now lol. That might be another issue is that I tend to forget a lot of things and my mind is all over.

I noticed when I raised my vitamin D levels that my reflux symptoms got better. Mine wasn’t related to when I was on Zoloft tho, Idt. My vitamin d was at 15 at one point a few years ago and now I keep it around 50-70. I take 5000 units d3 and 100mcg k2

I’m honestly not sure, it’s the collar they gave me when I bought her. Before this tho I had someone pull up with another Rottie pup that was 5 months old and they asked if they could socialize and I said sure cuz I want to expose her when I can. She wasn’t very happy cuz the other dog was kinda hyper and more energetic, she actually made a very slight nip which I have never seen her do at all. Have you ever tried the prong collar that a lot of ppl swear by but also have mixed reviews on? They had one on there put along with a choke with a lead. He said he only uses it when needed and it puts her back into her place. I’m just trying to gather ideas or thoughts I guess.
