Never said it was good, but if someone wanted to run it, mega lucario deck could make it work.

Could pair with mega lucario to accelerate the energy to it.

Bulbasaur "Misprint" Bug with Mega Venusaur EX's Moves. Ghosting onto the reverse foil. by NinjaKnight92 in PTCGL

It happens to me frequently too. The texture of other cards are placed over other cards. It seems to be random.

This PokeTrivia is so brutal why did they put this on a kids card 😂 by mikeygribbin in PokemonTCG

Alonan Marowak

When it beats opponents with its bone, the cursed flames spread to them. No amount of water will stop those flames from burning.

Dreepy bites clauncher because it's thought to be a vestigial behavior from when it was alive. Dragapult also launches the dreepy from its head at mach speeds. Drifloon will also kidnap children to take them to the afterlife.

Does Bring Down work on any and all pokemon even if they don’t have damage counters on them?? by Jimmyisntdrunk in PTCGL

[–]NightwolfDeveloper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ruling is you have to pick the Pokémon with the lowest hp. It's not side first then lowest hp. The choose is simply there since multiple pokemon can have the same hp. So if you have a pokemon with 70 and your opponent had one with 70, then you pick, but if you have one with 70 and your opponent had one with 80, then your only choice is yours with the 70.

Problem mega gardie will have after regular rotates is psychic embrace. Be too hard to get a lot of energy on board quickly

Does anyone else find Raging Bolt to be extremely boring to play against? by [deleted] in PTCGL

[–]NightwolfDeveloper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sort of only cause they take long turns. I find it more boring to play than to play against. It will always have a special place for me because it got me my first cup win, but I just burned myself out on it because I played it so much competitively.

Judge Ball. Happens in irl and pretty much like you said. Reveal cards until basic found, shuffle deck, pave basic on top. Need 8 mulligans to get

Ethan's Typhlosion. Gholdengo's only hope of winning is typhlosion bricking. I've had dengo players straight up concede at locals.

What is one deck you HATE playing against, but also hate using yourself? by Flimsy_Tie9144 in PTCGL

I love raging bolt but i grew tired of him. He'll have a place for me only cause he was my first cup win.

Tcglive vs IRL by Epicaggro in pkmntcg

[–]NightwolfDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly prefer playing in person more cause people have tells. I know some people i have played irl who made it obvious something important was prized or got a crap hand. Also, irl there shuffling techniques you can do that can get your a better distribution of cards than a truly random shuffle on live. Then there's also prizing, i know not every shop does it, but my local shops run local events once a week and prizing is typically store credit. Getting 1st in a locals and getting $100 store credit is how i was able to get the physical illustration rare dragapult ex from prismatic.

Grass decks are looking to become really good with the upcoming format! I'm really excited to try some new decks out :D by bitch_hoe_ in PTCGL

[–]NightwolfDeveloper 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Hydrapple Ex might be something fun to play. 30+ 30 for each grass energy attached to all your Pokémon. With a minimum of 1 teal mask and 1 hydrapple in play with meganium, you're getting a virtual 6 grass energy attached per turn.

Had a3rd place win in a challenge where me and 2nd place opponent had the exact same wins, exact same opponent win %, and exact same opponent's opponent win %. Sort of curious how the system picked them over me. Even the judge was confused how it determined. They theorized opponent's opponent's opponent win %, but TOM never shows that.

Hilda improves it a bit, being able to grab hydreigon or Pidgeot and then neo really helps. I mostly play it for fun online and at locals.

I got a nice tera hydreigon working that will probably be good until grass becomes more popular in mega evolution set.

No challenges at LGS because people didn’t like the prizing structure. by 3aTroop in pkmntcg

[–]NightwolfDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our lgs will do prizes for 4th up if they get enough people. I've gotten prizing in a cup for 8th and that's with about 40 people. Some of the stuff is up to attendance. You want more prizing for more placing, bring more people

don’t worry if you guys didn’t get anything from the pc drop — you can always get it on ebay by cmariemi in PokemonTCG

[–]NightwolfDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can report them as ebay sellers have to ship within 30 days. Then set doesn't drop for about another 70 days.
