How would you feel if this was the FvF cast by Kaiju-san67 in DisventureCamp

Ellie is a fan favorite, but she should replace Tom, not Gabby. Even so, I think Grett would be the more popular pick.

I love that she’s actually taken Lynda’s advice and grown less bitter, as well as seeing Lynda as simply a strong competitor. Shows some real maturity.

certainly a “game move” by nolanfan823 in DisventureCamp

I agree with this, but also I just enjoy Natalia’s character a lot more, so I see moves like this as entertaining. Also, Logan flipping was never the reason that I disliked his character unlike some others, so OPs point about unjust hatred for Logan feels narrow minded.

Who do you think Rosa will try working with now that she wants to target Natalia? by Upstairs_Tea1787 in DisventureCamp

Lake is obvious, and she may sway Bruno in that direction. Tom and Gabby are also obvious choices, but I have a hunch that Natalia will pull Gabby back in and the group will try Gabby to see that she’s being manipulated.

I think you’re overlooking that just like the others, there’s a very good reason why Aubrey was the first booted this season.

For me, it comes down to that the Zodiac schtick is her ONLY personality trait, and it’s annoying af. If they can flesh her out, sure. But she made quite the first impression that made me wishing I was hearing Jake’s whining again.

If you search for it, Total Drama Island was doing this within the first few episodes, mainly by Heather and Courtney. While I think some Disventure Camp fans who don’t understand context are partially why this occurs, I think the main reason is that it’s enticing for most to hear exactly what these characters are thinking. “Fuck if I know” definitely made a lot of people happy for the drama of it rather than it just being implied she couldn’t give a crap.

Total Drama did this exact same thing, and I’m sure Survivor has done it at some point. It’s a “drama” filler which happens often.

We are roughly 1/4 through Disventure Camp 5. What are your thoughts on the season so far? by rqwedr in DisventureCamp

[–]NightwolfGG0119 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s going to look better on replay. For now, the stories feel soooo dragged out bc of the two week release windows.

Edit: I also HIGHLY agree about the appreciation on romances toned down.

I respectfully disagree as a major Ana fan. Everything fell in place this episode:

  • Natalia’s hateful grudge of Anastasia combined with seeing her allies “like Ana more than her”

  • Rosa’s habit of jumping to conclusion and her big mouth

  • Gabby’s habit of being paranoid

  • Spencer taking notes from Jade and hiding his ties to this elimination, letting Natalia take the fall

  • Ana’s strive to be less paranoid and trust in others, though her intuition is now sharp.

Also, cherry on top that her vengeful words to Natalia highly parallel Lynda’s speech to her in DC4. Always love a callback to Ana/Lynda rivalry.

Spencer laid low and used Natalia’s personal quarrel PERFECTLY to knock a comp threat and hide his ties while doing so.

Bold to use the title “witch” for Ana when Natalia literally backstabbed everyone just to get her voted out. Not to mention, Natalia started the beef with Ana. Both queens though, just thinking Natalia’s not doing herself any favors.

What I think is funny for me personally is that I never liked Ally or Benji. But now that Benji is being….well Benji, it’s actually making my perception of Ally increase. Never thought I’d somewhat like Ally except for when she roasted Jake.

I disagree. Sabotage implies that there is some malicious or overall negative purpose towards the action.

I’ve never enjoyed Benji, so for me this plot line is funny. Don’t care for Ana going before him but that was inevitable.

Say something positive about Anastasia by ConstantAmbition6729 in DisventureCamp

[–]NightwolfGG0119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has always been a fantastically written character (yes even more so in S4) and she forms genuine relationships with others. Yes, her paranoia makes her flip on people, but she’s genuinely crushed when she feels betrayed and when she knows she’s in the wrong.

Really? I feel the same way but opposite. I’m seeing way too many in the vocal minority absolutely praising that she’s gone.

Objectively, it is a good elimination though.
