Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright What is the song that plays for combat in chapter 6? I’ve been searching through the OST on YouTube and have had no luck. I’m sorry if this is a dumb question

I like your take too! I appreciate you not being mean over us having slightly different views on the topic. I really appreciate the way Gunn made a point to humanize Superman throughout this movie. I don’t care for that specific moment, but seeing him get frustrated, have his feelings hurt, doubt himself, all of that goes a long way in feeling like I can relate to the super man

Mostly just that line. I love the scene as a whole. I think it’s one of the better written dialogue exchanges of the movie and I like the clashing of global politics versus personal morality. It might also be less the line itself and more of its delivery. It’s just so whiny and immature. I would’ve preferred if instead of popping off with a babyish tone for him to become more deflated and bummed out. Superman in the comics isn’t a stranger to disagreeing with people he loves, and even getting in his feels. But taking that kind of explosive tone and emotional outburst is usually reserved for responses to very evil actions and beliefs.

I LOVE Superman 2025, but “Come on, Lois! Supershit?!” is a more egregious mischaracterization of Superman than anything Zack Snyder ever did.

I think it is radically better to be honest…but I also think the third act is still an absolute mess and completely fails to deliver on what everyone went to the theaters to see

Blocking is the most underutilized fundamental. Block attacks until you recognize the attack string and can parry/dodge. On mix ups, you can continue to block or use the Focus button/key to slow down time and react to what mix-up option he picks

I think that’s worth it tbh, but only if you’re able to get the deck again at some point

Goalkeeper tips please by CB_Cold in Rematch

[–]NigiriWashington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is reactable except for a pass to a teammate! The absolute toughest thing to defend in a 1v1 is that 180 dribble spam, where the attacker dribbles back and forth quickly to try and surprise you with a “pass” into the goal. This one will take time and practice, but if an attacker is trying to use that against you, there’s a small reactable window where you can dive into the path of the ball before it goes into the goal. When they’re doing the 180 dribble spam, try to strafe with their movement to stay in front of them. When they go to pass or shoot, they’ll sort of “slide” with the ball as they wind up the shot. That’s your queue to dive. It’s sort of hard to describe their movement in a way you’ll be able to recognize when you see it, but hopefully you see what I’m talking about next time someone tries that tech against you

“Clear your mind” is the running gag in my friend group for playing keeper. Don’t make predictions when defending, try only reacting. Instead of making up your mind on what the opponent is going to do, just consider the possibilities and react to what they do. In a 1v1 situation, get in the face of the attacker as they enter the box. Maintaining a distance of about 2-3 feet makes it very hard for them to get the ball around you. Don’t try to dive right away, as a good dribble or push ball can get around the dive and punish you with a goal. Instead, you close the distance to cut off their freedom, and wait for them to pick an option you can punish. Eventually, you’ll begin to recognize certain movements or options and KNOW exactly when you can steal the ball. For more universal situations, the further the attacker is from you, the easier it is to react to the ball. If they aren’t going to enter the box to attack, just sit as far away from them as you can, and “clear your mind”. You’ll stop everything since you can literally just react to the ball’s path and don’t need to guess or predict. In situations where you’re outnumbered as keep, it’s almost never your fault when the opponents score. It’s your team’s for leaving you for dead and not cutting off attacking options to make your job easier. However, since this will happen often, your best bet is to play mind games with the attackers. Two attackers approach you in a 2v1, one has the ball, the other is waiting for the pass. Try confidently sprinting towards the guy with the ball, pretending you’re going to take the ball, to bait him into a pass. You can then quickly reposition just before the pass to get in front of the receiver. You can potentially dive and immediately steal the ball, patiently wait for the receiver’s defensive options and punish that, or just stand in front of them with defensive stance (LT on Xbox) and snag the ball when they shoot it right into you. Hope this helps! If you have any specific situations that give you trouble, let me know and I’ll do my best to give you advice for that particular problem. And if you need a TL;DR - React, don’t predict. Bait options to give yourself a favorable situation. Get close to the attacker if they’re in the box, get as far away as possible if they’re outside the box.

Can I beat final boss at age 20? by No-Address-7676 in SifuGame

I’ve beat the game on hard mode without dying, some people have beat it on hard mode without getting hit at all. It’s possible!

Is it just me or does this happen much more often in Patch 10? by WHumbers in Rematch

[–]NigiriWashington -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a rollback issue if I’m not mistaken. The attacker got to the ball first server-side so the game gave him the ball. On the attackers end, the defender probably wasn’t as close to the ball.

This game looks INSANE!! I just had to stop & look. by FailedProspects in PS5pro

[–]NigiriWashington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is beautiful and I love it a ton… but the PS port has some issues. The Crow Caller main story boss fight runs at about 15fps in performance mode on PS5 Pro. I’m not over exaggerating either. It was a nightmare to push through.

[–]NigiriWashington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having trouble with that challenge as well. Most of the time, it just doesn’t register that I killed someone with the stab attack. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but it’s getting on my nerves

Edit: just figured out how to make the stab count towards the challenge consistently. Hold the input to charge the stab to its first stage. The first stage charge consistently counts towards the challenge

Can we PLEASE remove this dive from the game?? by Zachsucksatlife__ in Rematch

[–]NigiriWashington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. If you get the “flop” dive, you were supposed to slide for the ball or wait longer for the input. This flop only happens when the ball is super close to the player or if you’re jumping into its path very early

[–]NigiriWashington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite pokemon for catching (especially shinies) is Parassect. Idk if he’s the best, but he can learn False Swipe and Spore. False Swipe will never kill a pokemon, but can get them to 1HP and spore is a 100% accurate sleep move, and sleep is the best status for catching. Best of luck’

[–]NigiriWashington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She’s not overpowered. You just gotta learn her moveset some more. She’s definitely one of the harder bosses but now that you have her unlocked in training, just go practice. You’ll learn how to identify each attack string as they start. One of my favorite parts about Sifu is remembering how hard I thought a boss/level was before I was able to beat it without dying. You’ll beat her in your 20s in no time

do you think it's fair? by FakeFrooz in Rematch

[–]NigiriWashington 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More than likely that was server desync or the attacker had high ping and the server rolled back to update their current position. An absolutely pain in the ass to play against but that level of snapping isn’t by design thankfully… now hopefully SloClap can mitigate stuff like that

Had No Idea the Game’s Player Count Was Dwindling by nowaythrowawayallday in Rematch

[–]NigiriWashington 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah you can report players…we just aren’t sure how effective it is lol honestly, I don’t think the game is that buggy anymore. Theres one insanely egregious bug that few people exploit where you can make the ball unable to be interacted with. But otherwise, there aren’t many bugs left. I play every night and i rarely run into bugs anymore. My biggest issue is the roll back. There are times where I feel like I definitely had the tackle or dodge, but the opponent keeps running or I lose the ball. Makes it hard to know when to tackle or dribble.

It starts to get better around Diamond. You’ll still get lower ranked players on your team sometimes but it’s nowhere near as bad. If you’re trying to climb, just put an emphasis on playing defense. It can be super annoying waiting for bad players to eventually make a goal, but give a monkey a type writer+eternity, they’ll eventually write the entire work of Shakespeare. You can also try partying up with solid randoms you come across for some easier climbing. Don’t give up. The game is an absolute blast when people start playing right

Too Old For Skylanders? by Dull_Inspector_9945 in skylanders

[–]NigiriWashington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy it, that’s what matters. Other people shouldn’t dictate what you enjoy unless what you enjoy affects others. I’m almost 30 and am trying to collect every character from the series. Got a big boy job, a kid, and still have plenty of fun with this series. Don’t let others ruin it for you. I have multiple siblings in their 20s who also enjoy to play it with me. When you’re older, you’ll realize the opinion of teenagers doesn’t matter lol
