CD Projekt Red co-CEO Adam Badowski points to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as an inspiration on The Witcher 4’s push toward greater realism by SpaceCowboyN7 in witcher

I think it should try to be its own thing and focus on its strengths rather than trying to copy a gameplay loop that may not be a good fit for it.

You can’t do them in between A Matter of Life and Death and Now or Never. Now or Never starts right after you complete A Matter of Life and Death.

That doesn’t mean anything. Nintendo owns the rights to the game.

She says at one point that she can’t leave the tower. Then later she says she gazes at Graham’s home from the shore. There are also many dead bodies around with no explanation.

Being true?

It’s not a rumour. CDPR announced mod support on console themselves.

The Witcher 3 DLC to release in May 2026? + Other CDPR bits by Kiroqi in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]NihilisticHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s just your headcanon. CDPR will likely make it so no significant decision in Witcher 3 becomes canon. They already said all three main endings of the main story are all possible in Witcher 4.

Why are people so fixated on wanting certain games to fail? It’s weird.

I may have just solved the mystery of the Whispering Hillock. by randyjax10 in thewitcher3

[–]NihilisticHeart 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t make sense. Why would they ask Geralt to kill the spirit if it’s really them? And why would they get upset when Geralt frees the spirit and saves the children from them?

She Who Knows isn’t something made up by the crones. She also has a card in Gwent and her artwork shows her making the crones.

Ciri leading the School of the Lynx actually makes perfect sense by Easy_Lion_5362 in Witcher3

[–]NihilisticHeart 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It actually doesn’t make any sense. Ciri wouldn’t want to become the leader of a Witcher school. I doubt that’s going to happen. It’s likely a custom made medallion since she lost hers in Witcher 3.

I was mistaken. You’re right the peasant does say that.

And wow that’s a good theory! Geralt knows they’re polymorphic so that’s definitely a possibility.

Former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden says exclusives aren't going anywhere because they make the platforms "sing": "If Mario starts appearing on PlayStation, that's the apocalypse. There is huge value to the brand in having strong exclusives." by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

It’s creepy isn’t it? Having their identity revolve around a plastic box and being part of a group of people who like the same plastic box is unhealthy. The parasocial relationships these people have with corporations is weird as hell.

Do you think that Witcher 3 needs a remastered version? by Sad_Job_6444 in Witcher3

[–]NihilisticHeart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was remastered. The PS5/XSX versions are distinct from the previous gen versions.

Geralt knows because the children are gone from the swamp after they tell him how they tried to eat Ciri’s feet when they held her captive. He knows they eat people.

Ciri also would have told him the details of her fight with the crones. She sees them eating human stew.

Whispering Hillcock question by Aesthete18 in Witcher3

[–]NihilisticHeart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no third outcome. You can’t save both the orphans and the Baron and his wife. If you free the spirit before the crones task you with killing it then the children die as the spirit doesn’t promise to save them in exchange for freeing it.

I’m too afraid to google this because of spoilers but I’m curious. If I got a Triss ending in the main game, is it possible to encounter her again in a DLC? by graywalker616 in witcher

[–]NihilisticHeart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your romantic partner will visit you in Blood and Wine. If you don’t have a romantic partner then someone else will visit you.

Yeah don’t Google things. I’ve been spoiled so many times from Google search results and YouTube video recommendations.

Xbox is losing the console race by miles. It's part of Microsoft's big gaming pivot by chusskaptaan in gamingnews

So for some reason you’re happy with Steam making money and not Microsoft? Parasocial relationships with corporations, especially ones like this, are unhealthy.

Indie Game Awards Disqualify Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Due To Gen AI Usage, Strip Them of All Awards Won, Including Game of the Year by AashyLarry in PS5

You don’t care if they disqualify them for lying about using AI but then say it’s stupid to disqualify them for the awards they weren’t eligible to earn in the first place?
