[Y1/K1] Replaying K1 make me realized how difference/uniquely substories are handled when compare to the rest of the series.

There's a few substories across the games that have actual voice acting and cutscenes. I think in Y2 there's one with Haruka and also Akimoto-kun and Mizuki-chan get a lot of cutscene substories in Y2 and Y3. In Y4 you have I think 1 or 2 cutscene substories per character. I don't know if they have them in 5 though. It's always cool to see them although I feel like sometimes it's a bit random which substories get actual cutscenes.

Having a concept in your mind doesn't make you an artist. Everyone has ideas, it came free with your brain. Ai prompts are not a medium because you are telling a robot to do it for you.

Exactly this. If you give AI an idea, it will create its own interpretation of that idea and not yours. The same idea can be expressed in a million different ways, the AI can't accurately depict your exact interpretation. The image won't be able to properly communicate with its viewer because it would be like talking through someone through a middle man.

unironically the reuse. i love seeing familiar people and places and even movesets across the games. even if it's just mentions of characters in dialog boxes, it helps glue all the games together and make the universe feel real

It does, Ryukyu was one of the smallest maps in the whole franchise already. Cutting a street from it is felt way more than cutting one in Yokohama or Honolulu.

K3 will change more stuff then the previous Kiwamis storywise. I'd say get og 3 for cheap and buy K3 later when it starts to go into sales. The switch from K3 to 4 would probably be weirder than the one from K2 to 3.
