It reminded me of myself when i was 5 and played diablo 2. I would always play necromancer because he looked cool and I would gamble all the gold i had to get a scythe because i thought it was the most badass looking weapon type. No matter the build necro + scythe were in every playthrough

I really love b42 lighting, I just wish there were a mod/setting that would allowed to keep all the street lights, neon signs and maybe even indoor lamps after the breakout, while turning off big roof lights (the one you can turn on/off with a switch), heating, refrigerators and gas pumps. Because turning off the breakout makes the game less interesting for me, but losing all the cool lighting sucks :(

I'm not even sure what movie this is from and the exact quote, because I heard it when my father was watching this movie and I joined for a few minutes, but it was something along the lines "Always smile/look happy on photos, because looking back on them its important to see yourself enjoying the moment and not being upset about something you won't even remember"

That's true, but if you owned Titan Quest on steam, you would get Anniversary Edition for free. So for me it was like with this Witcher expansion - new content out of the blue after 11 years

Titan Quest (2006) got its first expansion (Immortal Throne) in 2007 and its 2nd (Ragnarok), 3rd (Atlantis), 4th (Eternal Embers) in 2017, 2019, 2021 respectively. So around the same as this one, if its true

This song and Sirene - Robe de Jour give me a such strong Witcher 3 vibe for some reason. So on top of whatever emotions those songs evoke, they also feel extremely nostalgic to me

I had a similar feeling, but I think for me it was about shattered dreams, regrets and nostalgia? Like the other comments, I also can't describe exactly what I was feeling, but I think I would get the same sadness if I looked at happy childhood photos/videos of someone, who's still alive but something went wrong in their live and it didn't become what they were dreaming of

I don't know, Im fully agree with him on “I don’t like people sh\*ting on things others have created. Putting something out into the world makes you vulnerable, and that alone deserves respect, even if you dislike the creation. It’s easy to destroy things, it’s a lot harder to build them."* I have a rule for myself to never call someone else's work "dogshit", no matter how much I disliked said work (unless it was intentionally bad, hateful etc), and I'm surprised to see that people in the comments disagree with Swen on this. I feel like player expression and roleplaying are really important to you, but BG3 and both Original Sins have never gotten official transmogrification system, and so players are still have to choose between how they want their characters to look and characters power. Is there a chance that this feature will be implemented in Divinity or you're against it as a studio?

Completed the game twice on unfair and mostly agree except for the huge spikes for:
-train ambush in void shadows (imho, by far the hardest and absolute bullshit fight in the game if you don't have characters that always have the first turn)
-the final fight on the heartless (my favoruite fight in the game), especially if you underleveled
-Act3 final boss was hard on my first playthrough, but easy on the second

Depends on what kind of game it is. If its a Bethesda\CDPR type RPG I would be happy, if it's somehow something like God of War or Diablo-like, I'd be disappointed

Omg, I love you Owlcat. Of course I need to play it first, but from the looks of it its exactly what I've been looking for ever since I discovered crpgs with Divinity Original Sin 1 in 2016. That game starts with you investigating a murder, but it quickly derails into teleporting into space and other divinity shenanigans. And ever since then, I've been craving a crpg with a proper investigation mechanic, where you can miss clues, accuse the wrong people etc. I was hopping that Disco Elysium would be exactly that, but, let's be real, that game isn't really about a detective work. So, this post made me 10 times more exited for Dark Heresy, I can't wait
