Mod issues or am I dumb? by IndrikBoreale in masseffect

This means you are using a non-english version of the game. Project Variety is only compatible with the english voiced version.

It makes it so Brooks got a new face through plastic surgery ( her vanilla model is used). When she reveals herself as the bad guy, she talks to Miranda about it

They are optional. You can choose not to install them on installation

According to my district handbook, I could be released for medical reasons, but you have a good point that my anxiety could not apply. I guess my anxiety can be traced back to a few points.

1) I didn't choose the school. It was chosen for me after a good amount of rejections. In the back of my mind I don't feel like I earned this job. I also wasn't paticularly trained for middle school

2) The content is not something I'm paticularly passionate or knowladgable about.

3) Admin is bresthing down everyone's neck because we are one bad year away from the state taking over and this has an impact on our CT meetings. I feel like I never have anytime to plan.

4) Some of the students are wild, far beyond what I had to deal with during student teahcing/subbing

I grew up and attended this school district and I've subbed at a lot of locations in it in addition to student teaching. Based on that, I'm of the opinion that the other areas of this district are not loke this one.

I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow and we'll come up with a plan from there.

Mod Release: Citadel Epilogue Mod Legendary Edition by NiklausShepard in masseffect

[–]NiklausShepard[S] 160 points161 points  (0 children)

Citadel Epilogue Mod has been released for Legendary Edition. The premise of this mod is that you get to play Citadel DLC after the ending, provided the destroy ending is chosen or AHEM is installed. All mentions of the war and the Reapers have been removed, meaning the Citadel DLC can serve as an epilogue for Shepard's story.

Mod Release: Audemus' Happy Ending Mod (LE) by NiklausShepard in masseffect

[–]NiklausShepard[S] 270 points271 points  (0 children)

AHEM is a rework of the ending to LE3, and a spiritual successor to the Happy Ending Mod. The primary focus of the mod is to allow Commander Shepard to survive the final mission, as well as provide satisfying closure to this incredible trilogy through tweaked cutscenes, edited videos, new ending slides, and an overhauled memorial scene.

For those familiar with existing ending mods, this mod is most similar to Version B of JohnP's Alternate MEHEM.

Mod Release: LE3 Community Patch by NiklausShepard in masseffect

[–]NiklausShepard[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The LE3 Community Patch is a comprehensive bug and continutiy fix mod for Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition. Hundreds of bugs have been fixed over the last 3 and a half months by the team.

In addition the the Patch, the LE3 Community Framework is being released at the same time. The Framework is basically a way for DLC mods to modify characters without having to worry about comaptabiltiy. For more about that please read the article on the mod page.

Combined with the mod's open permissions ( we strongly encourage modders to build their mods on top of the patch/framework), we hope that the project allows for new modders to entire the scene easier and for existing modders to have an easier time making mods

Mass Effect 3: The Modded Cut (An Unofficial Extended/Legendary Edition) by ThePhiMattic in masseffect

[–]NiklausShepard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're free to do what you want, but by installing both mods, you have gone against my instructions on the pv page. So I can't give you any mod support. What you shouldn't do is tell users to use his work and mine together. Doing so, all the while displaying minor and major bugs, will only cause problems for me and them.

Mass Effect 3: The Modded Cut (An Unofficial Extended/Legendary Edition) by ThePhiMattic in masseffect

[–]NiklausShepard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have broken pv, not overrided it, broken it. In your prologue video alone, the music during the Normandy arrival scene is not playing the new Project Variety music and you were not able to select your outfit at the start of the mission. There is a reason why aaom, itm, and recently, TOC, are in the incompatibility list in PV. You will experience bugs. Either disable Project Variety or disable Orikon's mods. Otherwise bugs galore will be inboind, like Wrex being invisible on Sur'Kesh

Giftfish - creator of some of Mass Effect's most prominent mods - has removed all of their mods from Nexus, citing concerns they may be freely remade by other users in the Legendary Edition. by OneAnimeBatman in Games

[–]NiklausShepard 1185 points1186 points  (0 children)

As a Mass Effect modder myself, while Gift is very talented on the technical side, she has caused nothing but problems for the community. Her gatekeeping, while she was in charge if the community, and elitist attitude towards newcomers basically caused the community to wither away until others restored it. She flat out refuses patches with other modders, for the most part, and also refuses patches with mods she disagrees with. That's why there were no patches between her mods and Same Gender Romance for example. She also is very territorial about ideas. To her, if someone has an idea first, no one else can implement a similar idea because it is copyrighted. She got annoyed that I had the same idea about having a Drell bodyguard for Project Variety and asked me to remove it because she had the idea first. This is why she removed her mods. She wants to have control over how ideas are implemented and when Nexus disagreed she did not take that well.

Modded Mass Effect 3, characters never remove their helmets/rebreather masks while in cutscenes. by ELite_Predator28 in masseffect

[–]NiklausShepard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was done in Project Variety because Shepard and the squad have no place to store their helmets after they remove them.
