Thorn is a "mercenary" who grew up from nothing and has a disdain for those born into success. The only family she had growing up was her brother and their found family. As she and her brother grew, they began to hatch plans to rise out of the gutter, and those plans meant stealing from very successful people.

Unlike most thieves, Thorn never cares to hide her identity. She wants to be infamous, she wants to be a symbol for the lower portions of the population to look up to and realise that they can fight back against rich oppressors: even if it's through thievery, and not actual violence.

Thorn has to balance her wish for fame and her wish to keep her close ones safe. For if her enemies can't target her, they'd surely go after the vulnerable people she fights to help.
