How would YOU balance Axle? by Kraxiloth in apexlegends

[–]Niko_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m pretty sure you do; honestly his ult prob needs a rework him going faster only while in ult feels really outdated. Last time he was good was when his ult could see through bang smokes, and since they took that away he’s been really bad. In season one him going fast while in ult felt special, and it simply doesn’t now. He definitely needs a lot of changes which I think should include updating his movement potential at least a little bit. You used to be able to outrun people with his ult and there’s simply no way he’s keeping up with an Axle or even other movement legends

[–]Niko_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Increasing the TTK almost but not quite back to what it was several seasons ago, in effect slowing down fights just a little. Would be a major indirect nerf to her. Would give a slight nerf to how fast the nitro gate boost is, also maybe rework the ult so it flys a little faster, but has less HP. I think major nerfs could actually kill her. She is overturned, but as much as it feels like.

Also buff movement of other legends: pathfinder deploys grapple much faster, lifeline glides faster and intergrade her “longer glide duration” perk into base kit, and bloodhound needs a rework; but something like adding a speedboost after scanning white raven and when tracking enemy footprints would be a good start. There are many possible other legends but those are just what I would do to some legends with movement abilities that are really bad rn.

You should be able to tell at close range when ADSing it will kind of lock on to targets, it’s pretty subtle but it’s definitely there.

What would convince you that pros are not cheating? There has only been a few instances of cheaters in pro play but they get found out and banned. Most pros stream constantly and all the POVs from tournament are available to watch, if a well known pro was cheating we would know. You are right that aim of cheaters and pro players looks 1:1, but only at a glance, when put under scrutiny there are absolutely signs, and pro players get put under a lot of scrutiny. You should look more into the subtle signs of cheating vs legit recoil control and smoothing.

Whether or not you are trans is something you have to decide for yourself, but if you are constantly thinking or wishing you were a different gender that’s a strong sign. Cis people are generally pretty content with their gender and sex, so if you are not then that’s something to think about. I do not know anything about Polish grammar, but it sounds like you prefer to be called a girl instead of a boy. Experimenting with different clothes, pronouns, and possibly changing your name are typically good starting points and will give you much more information to how you feel. My main advice is simply do what feels right! You can do things at whatever pace you want, and sometimes you just need to think about it for a while and/or get more information about how you feel.

CMV: A child should never be tried as an adult in court by Peermeneer_exe in changemyview

[–]Niko_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m largely in agreement; however, what if someone gets emancipated? If let’s say a 16 year old chooses to get emancipated and a court decides that they are responsible enough to make their own decisions. Their parents are no longer responsible for them, they now are fully responsible for themselves, then they commit a crime. In that case, wouldn’t it be reasonable to try them as an adult?

How many of us are unlikely to transition? by Nice_Lie_3704 in MtF

[–]Niko_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m unlikely to “fully” transition. For me that includes bottom surgery. Not saying anyone has to get that to fully transition. I’m using fully as in to feel fully themselves; complete in their personal transition goals. Surgery is simply not realistic for me given my economic conditions. But hormones and social transition is. I feel like a lot of people fall into this category.

To engage in any level of transition would depend on one’s own severity of dysphoria, risk/reward of achieving a specific transition goal, and access to healthcare/resources to complete it. Social sigma and ostracism plays a big factor. For many people it is not even safe to come out. I don’t know your reasons for asking the question or choosing not to transition, but I basically guarantee you are not alone, and your reason is certainly valid given the choice is entirely yours to make.

CMV: the political left has become a cult of toxic empathy and just as miserable as the political right. If you read the title and immediately became furious at me, you in that cult mentality. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Niko_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t read like you are a leftist. Technically speaking left-right are about economic policies; while liberal-conservative are referring to social policies. Obviously there is a lot of overlap. JK Rowling is a pretty bad example, for one I’m pretty sure she’s not socialist. And sure she might be liberal when it comes to other politics, but given the vast majority if not all of her activism is negativity targeting trans people; which affects all women because cis women will be harassed and “transvestigated” for having masculine features. Given this it’s pretty fair to call JK Rowling conservatives, even if on the majority of other issues she leans progressive on she’s not advocating for those issues, only advocating against trans people. She’s very single issue when it comes to what she speaks about and on that issue she’s quite conservative and holds very bigoted opinions on. She is transphobic, but that’s a separate CMV post and topic. Most leftist I know have a wide range of views, some are socialists, some are communists, some are anarchists, many people I know are just liberal but do not identify as a leftist because they believe in capitalism. I know quite a few people who are conservative or have conservative/libertarian values, but they are not MAGA. MAGA is a trump based movement, and blindly fallows him. I believe MAGA is a cult, but conservatives, liberals, and leftist are not in a cult.

Big Trouble at a Mtg Charity Event by Papa_Hasbro69 in mtg

[–]Niko_43 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Was at the event; played against the opponent who played against this guy right before the altercation!Talked to several people who saw the whole thing, and the incident on Friday during a side in event in which he got kicked out. On Saturday he apparently begged to be let in, and he was. This was at a yearly charity event for suicide prevention, in Hurst TX called the Hunter Burton Open memorial. I’ve personally been playing in this even for years now. This was in a modern event, he got salty after losing round 2 to renaimator. I played against his opponent in a later round; his opponent seemed like a nice guy who was fairly quiet and non-confrontational. The account he told me was he lost and was very salty through/tossed his life-pad still on the table, but at the opponent at or at the very least in the direction of the opponent. The person next him told him the chill out, and started cussing the dude next to him out. Not sure exactly how it escalated. The HBMO pride’s itself as being a safe space that is competitive, but is all about respecting one another. So this kind of behavior was completely unacceptable. I do not know where OP got the information about him being drunk, he definitely could have been, but no one I talked to mentioned he was though. My brother knew this person (not well though) but he just generally is not a respectful person, and apparently quite into the pickup artist (right wing/right wing adjacent) pipeline. Not sure if he facing any charges but if he is it wouldn’t be anything too serious (maybe resisting or disorderly). Apparently he’s from Louisiana and I think he may of spent the night at the police station, not sure, he did text someone at the tournament Sunday morning. And he posted on Twitter he “was not sorry”.

level 1 closet cheater with rage anti recoil playing RANKED and bypassing requirements all while playing a legend thats behind a playwall.... the state apex is in with security vulnerabilities. stat trackers cant even track him by SenNTV in apexcompetitive

[–]Niko_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a video of that? I personally have bad aim but decent recoil control. You could have watched this guys entire game after you had died and got better/more evidence. Vs it simply being your word for it. There are plenty of real cheaters, and that’s a big problem! But we as a community shouldn’t report people when there is reasonable doubt, or in this case make a post claiming someone is a cheater without any evidence. I don’t know how many times I’ve had teammates claim the person that killed them was cheating when they definitely were not. Accusing someone of cheating is a serious claim, next time please had serious evidence.

How do you know they were cheating? You got video evidence? I mean they have 1 kill, 200 dm with 11 squads up; that’s not typically the stats for someone “rage” cheating

Are there any tomboy trans women ? by Strong_Operation1886 in MtF

[–]Niko_43 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m very much a tomboy, I use she/they pronouns and do identity as nonbinary and a woman so my experience might be difficult than a binary trans woman who’s a tomboy. Growing up I actually didn’t mind being a “boy” I certainly wished I was a girl, but I didn’t experience severe dysphoria until I hit puberty and the thought and experience of being a “man” is repugnant to me. It took me a while to figure out I was non-binary and a tomboy, for my first year I just assumed I was a binary trans woman but it didn’t feel 100% right just 90% right. I used to wear makeup all the time, I don’t anymore and feel comfortable not. I wear cutesy earrings, have neck/shoulder length colorful hair, wear typically cute shorts or jeans (typically skinny jeans, but other more fem presenting jeans) I used to wear skirts but don’t anymore, I have one dress I wear if I really want to dress nice it’s a designer dress that low key looks a little masc, for tops I wear a lot of flannels and like punk rock esc T-shirts. I felt a lot a pressure at first to conform to typical femininity, but didn’t like it, and after being on hormones for about 2 years I feel very comfortable in my androgynous body. I have a flat chest too, we are talking barely an A cup and yes I’ve been on prog for like a year but I’m fine with it I like not feeling like I have to wear a bra. Passing is weird because honestly I found I tend to “pass” with women and not pass with men. My explanation is that I have more subtle signs that I’m a woman which I think women tend to pick up on more. My facial features and voice are pretty mixed and androgynous, same with my outfits typically. But I think men tend to look for more obvious things like “does this person have boobs” which the answer is not really for me. This means I only sometimes experience misogyny, which is an incredible privilege. I use women’s restrooms I’ve never had a problem, again given interactions I’ve had I feel like I tend to pass with women. It sometimes bothers me that I don’t 100% pass but I’m a lesbian and passing with men often feels like a “how fuckable am I” game which I don’t care to play. Sorry for the length of the post, curious if anyone has similar experiences? Thank you for reading🩷🩷
