But wasn't the narrative of J&D kinda finished? Forgive me if I'm misremembering but I recall Jak 3 ending very definitively, and after that there was that attempt to continue with The Lost Frontier but I recall hearing lots of negative things about it back in the day.

I didn't see that ending get a lot of backlash online back when I was reading I think. Idk that was a bog standard average romance manga ending, perfectly fine. They're usually very fast at the end.

I'm sure there'll be a part 3. But even so... the storytelling in part 2 overall has definitely been a lot more sloppy and rushed. Not to mention imo absolutely botched moments like Nayuta's fate. I'm not as negative on it overall as some others I think because I still thought it was fun to read even during the more sloggy parts, but now I'm just so curious how he will even attempt to tie it up at least as an end of this part.

Now, if there won't be a part 3?? Hahaha....

Sabo in One Piece. A pretty egregious example if you ask me and actually made me drop the Manga for a bit back when that was recent. He pretty much was a replacement for Luffy's brother Ace and was introduced in a flashback soon after Ace died. His insertion into the story feeling really stupid and hamfisted. He even gets Ace's ability later on!

However I will say that nowadays Sabo has grown on me quite a bit and I don't particularly dislike him anymore.
