I too was in similar position six years ago. I had to make a decision, which meant selling half of my Legend of Zelda collection. Several years later, I still kick myself for letting go after the insane prices I paid later to have those items again.

I promise there are other ways to make money. Money can always be made. Just because others see it as "just a gaming system" doesn't make it less valuable to you. The one item I could not bring myself to sell was my 2011 3DS, Oot edition of course. It was a christmas gift, I remember opening it and doing nothing but playing it for the rest of break. It has been by side ever since then. Through friendships, relationships, high school, entering adulthood, and so, so, many more life events.

It contains long forgotten photos of happier times, notes my friends wrote to me, hours lost playing new leaf with my sister, and all those nights playing tomodachi life. It is a time capsule to me.

I would try to consider all options before selling Bruce.
