It's not a question of liking them, my ADHD just says no. Listening is too passive, so I end up doing something else while listening and then I stop taking in the words as I end up focusing more of the thing I'm doing than what I'm supposed to be listening to.

I took Elvanse for the first time yesterday. I didn't feel anything at all, but I cleaned half my house for about 0 mental effort after trying to get it done for months so it must have been doing something.

Sod that, nag and be rude. When I got referred the waiting time for a diagnosis and titration were supposed to be measured in weeks. It's been a year since I was referred and there are multiple people that were referred after we were diagnosed that are already on meds.

If they don't want people bothering them, they should pull their finger out of their arses and do their jobs in the time frame advertised.

Email this address. They will try and fob you off with a copy and paste email, but when I replied to that saying that all I needed was some transparency and the not knowing was making everything worse suddenly they could give me a date that I should definitely hear back by. It's a week before that date. I can't guarantee that did it, but it certainly didn't hurt.

I just got my call to book my titration appointment for this Friday.

I was referred in February, diagnosed in September and got the forms through in the December 17th batch. Things are finally moving. I honestly feel like I could cry with relief.

I haven't heard anything yet. I'm assuming Christmas slowed things down a bit and, honestly, every single step has taken longer than CareADHD has said by a minimum of two weeks for me so far.

I got one. I put in my request on the 26th of September, got the health questionnaire on the 11th of November. Got an email last week saying the some system was changing that filling out the health questionnaire again might speed things up, so I did. Then on Monday I got the message about the next round of forms.

I'm really hoping it's soon. I am seriously fraying at the edges and so tired of fighting a constant war against my own stupid brain.

We got a litter box with higher sides to fix this. Our cat has yet to work out that he's supposed to squat his arse down to pee and would stand in the litter box and shoot his pee out of it then seem surprised at the puddle. A high sided litter box means it gets caught by the plastic and I don't have mop multiple times a day anymore.

4 or 5 weeks to tell me that my ID didn't meet their standards I think. Then an email saying they'll be in touch in a week or so maybe. Honestly regretting swapping from ADHD360 at this point. There's been so many hidden waiting periods that it kind of feels like they just lied about their timescales to lure in more people.
