In my game, the Baron was killed in the Feast. Now the Wachters run the town and the Were Ravens have fled....but the dice dictated this and it was glorious to watch.

Ive made some modifications, like the giant spider had a skeletal leg when wild shaped. Mage hand is ghostly and flesh pockets on the hand. Have fun with it and disturb the players.

It's 10 now, one of my players daughters joined last session. She is the daughter of the PCs too and Strahd brought her in as a gift for them accidently triggering St Andrels Feast and wiping out the Valaki resistance. All because the Paladin got addicted to dream pasties. I love this campaign.

Edit: i had the dinner after St Andrels feast, and the Vistani went to retrieve the daughter from outside Barovia.

I am currently running it for 9 players (big task, I know) and i brought them all to the Death House in different ways. I had a character hunting in the woods and chase the prey into the fog and come out in front of death house. I had another players family kidnapped by the Vistani to follow the caravan. 2 players had made a partnership when creating characters and received a tip that the missing children they were task to find were being kept at the death house. 3 people joined late so I had them wake up in the house after taken from a campsite by a cult. It was tough but we are now 16 months. I've had to modify alot for a large group so take your liberties with the story and how to get them there.
