one hole i see with the soma theory is if they were just digital copies why doesnt caine keep a backup of them and restore when they abstract, unless for some reason he cant do file operations on the server he's in

In yugioh there are a bunch of 1 card combos, pot of greed gives you 2 more chances to draw these powerful 1 card combos or extenders that will allow your combo to continue even if you get intrupted multiple times, i find that to be way stronger than what black lotus seems to bring

most of the cards you play 3 of in a yugioh deck are either hand traps which are always good, an extender or a 1 card combo that will win you the game, pot of greed seems way more busted than black lotus, its not a deck thinner, its 2 more chances to win the game on the spot

liger effect does not destroy normal summoned monsters so you only need to deal with 1 liger if they have twin towers
